There’s a widespread belief that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s aggression is the product of weak leadership from President Joe Biden, who often acts in accordance to his 79 years on this earth. Questions about the president’s overall competency isn’t helped much when Vice President Kamala Harris is sent to hotspots to act as Biden’s emissary.

While Americans have little choice but to accept this wanting partnership in the White House, we tend not to be aware of how the rest of the world views the U.S. In the face of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the world is getting a full dose of Biden administration leadership and it’s safe to say that, for many, they are not impressed.

Sky News Australia anchor Rita Panahi responded to last week’s joint news conference Harris held with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw, where the vice president drew intense criticism for “cackling” after being asked about Ukrainian refugees.

Panahi fretted that Harris is “the cackling nincompoop a heartbeat away from the presidency.”

She also referenced the “illegal immigration disaster” in America, noting that Harris was tasked with solving a problem that only gets worse, if that’s even possible, to conclude: “Kamala Harris is proof of what happens when you disregard meritocracy and embrace identity politics. Kamala is what happens when you chose people for key roles not according to their abilities, experience or acumen, but according to their gender or skin color. Good luck, America.”

It was at the joint news conference that a reporter referenced the somber topic of a likely breakdown of the refugee system in the closest Polish border town in response to so many Ukrainians fleeing the violence to ask if the U.S. planned “to do more specifically to set up a permanent infrastructure. And relatedly, is the United States willing to make a specific allocation for Ukrainian refugees?” The reporter followed that up with a question for Duda.

Harris responded by first looking to the Polish president to determine who would go first — which the fact-checkers clung to in running interference for her — then saying with a hearty laugh, “Okay, a friend in need is a friend indeed.”

She addressed the question with this word salad: “So the United States is absolutely prepared to do what we can and what we must to support Poland in terms of the burden that they have taken on that I think all of us who understand the moral obligation we should feel to help people who are fleeing harm and seeking refuge; the burden we should all be prepared to take on to support those people who are fleeing their home when they don’t want to leave.”

But it’s not just Biden and Harris prompting the world to laugh at us, as seen in the clip below that’s focused on Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Pelosi is two years older than Biden at 81 — she turns 82 in a week and recently announced that she was running for reelection again in November — and is beginning to show her age as well, struggling at times with sentence structure and rhythm when speaking to reporters.

“America’s got 330 million people and ends up with Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi, one, two, three in the leadership. Explain this,” host Andrew Bolt host says in the clip, while commentator  Daisy Cousens snickers.

Pelosi was speaking about congressional Democrats’ efforts to pass President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda back in November when her words became nearly impossible to decipher, prompting people to wonder whether it was a stroke or a glitch.

Either way, it would appear that Democratic leadership is less than impressive in the eyes of some around the world… here’s a quick sampling of responses from Twitter:
