Sheriff Grady Judd in Polk County, Florida announced that 108 people including Disney employees had been arrested during “Operation March Sadness 2,” a six-day undercover investigation that focused on human trafficking, prostitution, and child predators.

“This is huge,” Judd said, commenting on four men considered child predators. “Four arrests of this magnitude is simply remarkable.”

The sex workers were identified by Polk County detectives along with other agencies through advertisements online. During their investigation, they also reportedly identified those who were searching the web for prostitutes, according to WESH 2 News.

“We’re online to stop them from getting to children,” Judd declared, according to Click Orlando.

Those apprehended included a retired 66-year-old judge named Daniel Peters from Illinois, a number of restaurant managers, and several individuals who work for Disney.

Peters served as a judge in Cook County and as a special assistant for legal affairs at the Cook County Sheriff’s Office in Illinois. He evidently requested an attorney and Sheriff Judd replied, “Well judge, you need an attorney. You got problems.”

Peters wound up being charged with soliciting a prostitute, according to WFLA Channel 8 News.

One of the suspects who works for Disney is 27-year-old Xavier Jackson from Kissimmee. Judd stated that Jackson is accused of sending sexual images and graphic descriptions of “what he wanted to do” to an undercover detective posing as a 14-year-old girl.

“Did I mention that he just happens to be a lifeguard at the Polynesian Resort for Disney? You think there’s a few children around there? That’s right, I didn’t stutter. He was a lifeguard at the Polynesian Resort. And was bragging about that,” Judd stated, his words colored by disgust.

Jackson was arrested and faces multiple charges, including three counts of transmission of material harmful to a minor and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

According to WESH 2 News, Disney has confirmed three suspects mentioned by Judd work for the company.

The other two Disney employees who were accused include 24-year-old Wilakson Fidele, who has worked at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in Magic Kingdom for four years, and 45-year-old Ralph Leese, who is employed by the company in their IT department.

The three employees whom Disney has confirmed have all been placed on unpaid leave pending investigation results.

Of the 108 arrests in the sting, the majority of them were for soliciting a prostitute.

Judd reported that they also arrested a woman for trafficking another woman. Her name is Tiffany Nash, 32, and she worked at an Orlando area KFC.

“It’s not often we arrest traffickers at the undercover site but we did,” he commented.

“She would force this young lady, this victim, to come along. This deal was for $300. If this lady were lucky, she would get $20,” Judd noted.

Nash is being charged with human trafficking, deriving proceeds from prostitution, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The sheriff said law enforcement was fortunate they found Nash’s victim and got her help.

“She’s not criminally charged and she’s not up here on this board because she’s immediately turned over and treated as a victim, not a criminal suspect in an event,” he asserted.

“We’ll be back. And if you violate the law, we’re going to take you to jail. That’s a guarantee,” he said.

The ages of those taken into custody ranged from 17 to 67. Many could face additional charges after the investigation is wrapped up.

“We have the traveling charges, we have the using the computer charges, the harmful material charges… the attempted lewd battery charge if they travel,” Judd asserted.

“The arrests of a human trafficker and four child predators alone makes this whole operation worthwhile,” Judd said. “The online prostitution industry enables traffickers and victimizes those who are being trafficked. Our goal is to identify victims, offer them help, and find and arrest those who are profiting from the exploitation of human beings. Johns fuel the trafficking and victimization. Where there is prostitution, there is exploitation, disease, dysfunction, and broken families.”
