One does not simply lose their momma bear instinct just because their child becomes a billionaire business owner, as Maye Musk, mother of Elon Musk, proved on Thursday.
Given that Musk has acquired so much wealth in the course of his career, he has naturally become a target of the “eat the rich” types, otherwise known as “progressives.” This lot includes Sens. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.
These two and all of those who follow their intellectual footsteps, as shallow as they might be, believe that Musk has not paid his fair share and thus should be subject to a special tax due to his bracket.
This vitriol hasn’t escaped the notice of Musk’s mother, who herself is a model and dietician. On Thursday, she retweeted an article and aimed it directly over the bows of Sanders and Warren.
