As Ukrainians fight for their lives against the invading Russian forces, civilization hasn’t totally broken down. Those looking to take advantage of the situation via looting are being publically shamed in a way that is sure to deter future attempts.
According to reports, looters are being taped to poles where they can patiently wait for the police and reflect upon their actions. However, that didn’t seem far enough for some, and photos posted on social media show the pants (and perhaps underwear) of the looter were removed as well.

Ukrainians are taking the situation seriously, defending themselves not only from invading enemy troops but the opportunists among themselves as well.
This one had his pants pulled down and then taped in the freezing cold
Ok so you don’t want to pick up a gun and fight for your country like most Ukrainians but don’t go on looting homes and businesses. pic.twitter.com/CDp8gDDJm0

As much as I hate to say it, some people frankly do need to have the stockades or stockade equivalents just to scare them straight—though this of course does not give anyone the right to abuse them while they’re in a stockade.

Seems fair.
