A Republican tweet trolling Joe Biden on President’s Day got the attention MSNBC’s Joy Reid who lashed out by throwing down the race card, her first, last and only resort on whatever happens to trigger her on any given day.
The GOP’s grave offense was tweeting out a “Happy Presidents Day!” meme that featured past Republican presidents including Dwight D. Eisenhower who, as the supreme commander of Allied forces during WWII led the defeat of Hitler and the Nazis, as well as Abraham Lincoln who freed the slaves.
Also included were both Bushes, Ronald Reagan, Donald J. Trump and Richard M. Nixon with an image included of a masked Biden with the words “NOT YOU,” an irreverent and humorous jab at the nation’s current president whose 13 months at the helm can only be described as a roaring, four-alarm dumpster fire that has cratered his approval ratings as his far-left policies have inflicted grave damage on the U.S. and its citizens.

The “race lady” responded to a tweet from Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s daughter Christine that accused the GOP of a sinister motive, “They whited out President Obama during Black History Month,” a silly reaction considering that for reasons that would be obvious to anyone, that Democrats other than the current White House occupant didn’t make the cut.
“Disappearing the first Black president while whitewashing Richard Nixon and disrespecting the man who served as the first Black president’s VP, who is now president,” wrote Reid. “Notable as this party writes education mandates telling your kids’ teachers what they are allowed to teach…,” yet another sign that Democrats are terrified that the blowback over the anti-white ideology of critical race theory is going to cost them dearly at the ballot box.

Later in the afternoon, Reid dragged the name of the nation’s first president, George Washington through the mud after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis praised the founding father, smearing a man who as a general during the Revolutionary War led the successful efforts to free America from the grip of tyranny by kicking King George’s redcoats back across the pond and ensuring that two and a half centuries later, she would be free to engage in her racist rants.
According to Reid, Washington “Owned hundreds of enslaved people” and “Used enslaved people’s teeth for his dentures,” a twisted and distorted take on history that serves as a perfect example of the “woke” left’s contempt for American history that isn’t compatible with the warped versions that have been put forth by the likes of writer Howard Zinn and the 1619 Project.
For good measure, she tossed in a “fun fact” that “Washington is America’s blackest surname.”

Also taking umbrage with the GOP’s tweet was Elie Mystal, a frequent MSNBC contributor and raving crank who was perturbed that Nixon got some love but not Obama.

Yet another MSNBC contributor, Joyce Alene, a former US attorney who was appointed by Obama also suggested that the GOP’s tweet was motivated by racism.

Not surprisingly Reid, Pelosi, Mystal and other aggrieved leftists had no reaction to the Democrats’ President’s Day tweet from their Twitter account that also left out the nation’s “first black president.”

There are few media personalities who are in Reid’s league when it comes to spewing toxic nonsense on MSNBC but her fixation with race has her preaching to a shrinking choir of like-minded converts on a network that is badly struggling to attract new viewership.
