President Joe Biden quietly tapped a BLM board member to advise on the selection of a Supreme Court nominee as he publicly attempts to distance himself from CRT and Defund the Police movements.
Minyon Moore, a longtime Democratic strategist, worked for President Clinton as a Director of Political Affairs and for the Office of Public Liaison before later becoming the Chief Operating Officer for the Democratic National Committee. Additionally, she serves as a top leader for the Dewey Square Group consulting firm.
While these portions of her resume were bolstered in the official White House announcement, they failed to include her current status on the board of directors of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation.
Moore’s ties to BLM came to light after it was reported on recent charity filings that also link Hillary Clinton attorney Marc Elias to the organization. Moore also holds weekly conversations with Kimberle Crenshaw, a law professor and CRT advocate, the Washington Examiner reported.
The two took part in a public discussion recently where Moore agreed with Crenshaw’s sentiments that it is up to activists to “make it costly for those who we elected to be silent,” and encouraged Crenshaw to explain how activists could get involved in pushing for CRT.
“Silence is not an option,” Crenshaw said, in part. adding to Moore. “And so part of what we have to do is give them, and I know that you’ve have been working on this for the last year…to give people the right talking points and the weapons – because they’ve taken the work to weaponize us, and we have to take it back.”
Though the BLM Global Network Foundation told Fox News Digital that Moore “has been required to cease all involvement in matters pertaining to her work with Black Lives Matter while she is part of the White House confirmation team,” that does not change Moore’s views or connections to ideas and organizations Biden publicly has distanced himself from.
Biden recently spoke at an event in New York City where he told the New York Police Department that in the face of surging crime, “the answer is not to defund the police,” before suggesting doing better to provide tools and funding so law enforcement could better serve their communities.
This is not the first time that Moore has been part of controversy either. In 2014 it was reported that Moore had allegedly been soliciting funds off-the-books to finance campaign teams. The dark money schemes and unnamed connections are an ongoing trend throughout the Biden administration as new details have surfaced pertaining to Arabella Advisors.
In short, Arabella funds non-profit organizations that then move that money to charities thus removing any connection to the original donor who paid into Arabella, allowing them to remain anonymous and unconnected to the causes that they are funding.
This includes groups like Demand Justice who advocate for Supreme Court nominees of their preference. White House press secretary Jen Psaki and White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain have been linked to this network.
The question remains as to whether Biden is aware of these ties or if someone else is calling the shots at the White House.
