The Black Lives Matter activist who was charged with attempted murder of a Democratic mayoral candidate had once appeared with MSNBC’s Joy Reid touting gun control.
Reid had once sung the praises of Quintez Brown, the 21-year-old political activist and journalist who stunned many with his alleged shooting of Craig Greenberg, a Jewish Democrat running for mayor in Louisville, Kentucky.
Greenberg was not injured in the incident though a bullet reportedly did graze his clothing. Police charged Brown with attempted murder and four counts of wanton endangerment after he allegedly confronted Greenberg with a gun in his office where he and other staff were meeting.
The Washington Free Beacon’s Chuck Ross pointed out the irony in Brown allegedly attempting a shooting when he had appeared in 2018 at the March for Our Lives anti-gun rally alongside Joy Reid when he was still in high school.
The Louisville activist who shot a mayoral candidate appeared on Joy Reid’s show at an anti-gun violence rally. Said he “loves” David Hogg. https://t.co/JpVF5zbVbD

MSNBC still has the video from the event and Brown’s appearance on its website.
“At the March for Our Lives, high school protester Quintez Brown has a message for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, from his home state of Kentucky: If you don’t give us common sense gun reform, we’re going to vote you out of office,” MSNBC’s description reads.
Twitter users reacted to the resurfaced video and the irony of Brown’s once outspoken gun stance.
Classic. Anyone who calls themselves an activist usually is just a loser

And down the MSM memory hole goes this story.

Does David Hogg have an opinion? I mean he always does. Where’s he at on this one?

So the one guy they decide to talk to about supporting gun control committed a gun crime?

Looking forward to @mkraju asking every Dem Senator to condemn this attack on a Jewish mayoral candidate by a BLM activist.

Ok so he shot but missed. So there’s that.
And he is a community activist.
During Brown’s arraignment, his attorney, Rob Eggert, asked to keep his bond low, described him as “well known in the community” with no record other than a speeding ticket.
