Fox News Radio host Brian Kilmeade bluntly accused former President Donald Trump of lying about winning the state of Arizona in the 2020 presidential election after the results of the state’s election audit were determined.

Trump has never wavered from his claim that the 2020 election was rigged against him in a number of states. He has stood by election fraud claims regardless of what the left has thrown at him.

The allegation was made by Kilmeade on Monday after he took a call on his radio show from a man named Logan who claimed to be a Trump supporter concerned with the former president’s assertions concerning the 2020 election and found his comments on the issue “cringeworthy” according to The Hill. He argued that Trump’s obsession with what he called a conspiracy theory could cost Republicans in the mid-term elections in November.

Kilmeade said he was concerned as well and had spoken with two of Trump’s friends regarding the issue. They allegedly asserted that “after the Arizona rally, they called him up and said that was the worst speech you ever gave.”

“Nobody cares about your topics. There is so much to talk about that matters to you and I, Logan, right now about what’s happening in the Ukraine, how China is just forgetting about Phase One, how they’re beginning to militarize everything around them, about to take Taiwan back. What’s happening here in this country… That’s what people wanna talk about. It’s not hard stuff,” Kilmeade went on to comment.

He also pointed out that Trump had many great accomplishments that he could point to instead of the 2020 election. Then he tore into a claim Trump made concerning an audit of the election results in Arizona. The Republican-controlled state legislature eventually confirmed that President Joe Biden won the state in 2020. Despite that statement, Trump contends the audit found that he won the state and there are many that purportedly agree with his assessment.

“Right now, nobody cares about 2020,” Kilmeade asserted. “Nobody. And everything that he said and the challenges that he made should’ve been done before the election. And they did a recount in Arizona, and the recount showed no difference almost, and he came out and said it showed that they won Arizona. That’s an outright lie, and please stop wasting our time with that, because he’s capable of doing so much more.”

During his “Save America” rally in Florence, Arizona in January, Trump declared to 15,000 cheering supporters, “A person that comes here and has crowds that go further than any eye can see — there’s nobody that can see the end of this crowd.”

“And has cars that stretch out for 25 miles. That’s not somebody that lost an election, and now because of it, our country is being destroyed,” he proclaimed.

Arizona is now in the midst of changing voting laws after the debacle in the 2020 election. Proposed measures include banning cities or school boards from conducting all-mail elections, changing the threshold for automatic recounts, and proposing changes to the way Arizona handles residents who only vote in federal elections.

A number of the bills were sponsored by lawmakers who cheered a Senate Republican-ordered review of the 2020 election in Arizona’s largest county. One proposed bill would allow the state legislature to repeal election results after review.

The seven bills that passed out of committee in January also included requiring counties to use a special paper with anti-fraud markings on ballots and mandating that ballot images be posted online, according to CBS News. The bills will have to clear another Arizona Senate committee before they head to the full Senate for approval.
