The upcoming season of the hugely popular reality singing and costume contest “The Masked Singer” has yet to make its debut but there is already major buzz that will practically guarantee smash ratings for the first episode after two judges threw a temper tantrum over a surprise contestant.

According to reports, none other than Rudy Giuliani was unmasked and the presence of the former New York City mayor on the set triggered Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke who stormed off the stage in protest, the latest in an ongoing series of snits from leftist celebs who are intolerant of those expressing views that they don’t agree with.

The show in which contestants wear colorful costumes while performing musical numbers and providing clues to their identity with the one receiving the fewest votes being unmasked at the end as the audience chants “take it off, take it off” has been a massive hit for Fox, captivating viewers with the surprise element of the anonymous celeb participants shedding the masks for six seasons during which it has been must-see TV for millions.

And oh, what a surprise it was when the first one to be unmasked on the seventh season was Giuliani, a figure who has been widely demonized by the media for his role as an attorney for former President Donald J. Trump and who faces being hauled in front of Nancy Pelosi’s sham “insurrection” committee which just hit him with a subpoena.

According to a TMZ report: “The taping went down last week, the first episode of the show’s upcoming season, and — not shockingly, we think — Rudy was the first contestant eliminated. TMZ has confirmed … as soon as the mask came off Rudy’s head, Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong blew their tops.”

Entertainment website Deadline reported that both judges eventually returned after their meltdown while “fellow judges Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger remained onstage. They bantered with Giuliani, a controversial figure for pressing what is widely derided as a baseless claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from his client Donald Trump.”

Leftists took to Twitter to blow their lids over Rudy’s big reveal.

Judges expressed similar shock when former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin took off the head of her bear costume to reveal the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate in season 3, prompting host Nick Cannon to exclaim “This might be the most shocked I’ve ever been on this show,” although in a less toxic political era before the outbreak of Trump Derangement Syndrome, her appearance didn’t result in any walkouts.

The show’s seventh season will feature the theme “The Good, The Bad and The Cuddly” and will debut on March 9, 2022.
