Keen eyes on social media spotted an interesting curiosity about the nation’s top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Twitter user Karl Dierenbach posted a Photoshopped image of Fauci that took off on the social media platform as he pointed out how a glimpse into Fauci’s home office revealed how self-obsessed he seems to be.

“Fauci in his office, surrounded by pictures of Fauci, watching that scene from ‘Fauci’ where Fauci is in his office surrounded by pictures of Fauci,” Dierenbach tweeted along with the image that was altered to show President Biden’s chief medical adviser as he stared at himself on the computer screen.

Red arrows were added to the image pointing out works of art throughout the office that represented Fauci himself.

The original footage appears to be from the documentary “Fauci” which was released last fall.

“In the documentary, Fauci, 81, can be seen sitting at his computer typing what appears to be an email as a canvas print of his likeness looms over him,” the New York Post noted, pointing out that a framed photo of himself as well as a Fauci bobble-head can be seen on other bookshelves around him.

The computer screen in front of Fauci, which displayed an email he was working on, was altered by Dierenbach to appear as if he is looking at himself.

Twitter users wondered “Who has that many photos of themselves in their office?”
