Trump throws counterpunch at Biden for Jan 6 ‘political theater’ designed to mask colossal failures

Former President Donald Trump is blasting President Biden for invoking his name as a way to divide America and as a form of misdirection.

In remarks at Statuary Hall marking the one-year anniversary of the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, the incumbent POTUS accused his predecessor of “spreading a web of lies about the 2020 election” as he read his speech off of a teleprompter.

Circling back, as Jen Psaki might say, to the J6 lawbreaking and vandalism apparently suggests that the president’s far-left handlers have concluded that this is, perhaps, the only way to gain traction even as the inept Biden/Harris team continues to sink in the polls amidst one unresolved crisis after another.

Biden, who took office promising unity, accused Trump of rallying a mob to attack the Capitol and trying to prevent a peaceful transfer of power.

Democrats have a history of contesting elections when a Republican wins, but that was then, and this is now.

To date, authorities have not charged any of the wrongdoers with an insurrection-related offense in the universally condemned event; most of the charges so far relate to trespassing. Controversy has emerged over implications of lack of due process for the defendants as well as disproportionate sentencing.

Adding to the hyperbole, Vice President Kamala Harris today compared, without evidence, January 6 to the Pearl Harbor attack and the 9/11 terror attacks where thousands died. Democrats are also trying to exploit January 6 as a way to jam through their so-called voting rights bill.

The only person killed on January 6 was unarmed Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt who was fatally shot by a Capitol Police officer, which perhaps signified the first time that the corporate media sided with a cop in an officer-involved shooting.

Trump issued a statement through his Save America PAC, and as you would expect, he is not holding back. You can perhaps vividly picture him personally dictating this statement or however he does his work, unlike the Ivy League intern who runs Biden’s social media activity.

The former president originally planned to do a press conference Thursday, but he makes news no matter what.

“Biden, who is destroying our Nation with insane policies of open Borders, corrupt Elections, disastrous energy policies, unconstitutional mandates, and devastating school closures, used my name today to try to further divide America. The political theater is all just a distraction for the fact that Biden has completely and totally failed…,” Trump said.

Trump also took another shot at the partisan Jan.6 House committee: “Why is it that the Unselect Committee of totally partisan political hacks, whose judgment has long ago been made, not discussing the rigged Presidential Election of 2020?  They want all conversations concerning the Election ‘Canceled.’ Just look at the numbers, they speak for themselves. They are not justifiable, so the complicit media just calls it the Big Lie, when in actuality the Big Lie was the Election itself.”

Even as the political/media establishment frowns on any discussion of the intricacies, shall we say, or anomalies, of Election 2020 amidst a flurry of mass numbers of mail-in ballots, Trump has long maintained that the real insurrection occurred on November 3, 2020.

“The Democrats want to own this day of January 6th so they can stoke fears and divide America. I say, let them have it because America sees through their lies and polarizations,” he concluded.

Trump followed up with another statement about the “rigged” election and other issues.

Politicians and pundits across the ideological divide are also weighing on today’s events.

Likely speaking for most of the country who have more pressing concerns on their mind such as inflation, gas prices, education, and crime, America’s governor, Ron DeSantis of Florida, has bluntly assessed today’s scenario as a “nauseating charlie foxtrot.”

“I don’t expect anything good to come out of anything that Pelosi and the gang are doing,” The GOP governor added, while also chiding the narrative-spinning “D.C.-New York journalist class” that compliantly pushed the Russia collusion hoax.

He also wanted to know why the U.S. Justice Department is keeping information about the alleged J6 FBI informants or agitators under wraps.

Ohio GOP Senate candidate J.D. Vance released a strongly worded statement of his own, calling the committee “an obvious political show trial.”

He also said that a congressional committee should investigate the riots — perpetrated by whom Tucker Carlson has separately described as “Joe Biden voters” — that swept America in the summer of 2020.
