Mega podcaster Joe Rogan announced on Sunday that he had joined conservative social media platform Gettr as Twitter censorship intensifies and more pundits are being banned over expressing opinions concerning COVID vaccinations.
“Just in case sh*t over at Twitter gets even dumber, I’m here now as well. Rejoice!” Rogan told his followers on his GETTR account Sunday afternoon.
Rogan’s joining Getter follows Twitter suspending Dr. Robert Malone for sending out “misinformation” on COVID vaccinations. Malone has received billions in grants for his research, he has worked for the CDC, and he was deeply involved in the nine original mRNA vaccine patents. Now that he is speaking out against the vaccines, Malone has fallen out of favor with leftists and is persona non grata. Malone has since joined Gettr as well.
“They removed you for not going along with whatever the tech narrative is because tech clearly has a censorship agenda when it comes to COVID in terms of treatment, in terms of the — whether or not you’re promoting what they would call vaccine hesitancy, they can ban you for that, they can ban you for in their eyes, what they think is a justifiable offense,” Rogan told Malone.

“I try really hard to give people the information and help them to think, not to tell them what to think. Okay? But the point is if I’m not — if it’s not okay for me to be part of the conversation, even though I’m pointing out scientific facts that may be inconvenient, then who is who can be allowed?” Malone justifiably pointed out later in the conversation.
“Our government is out of control on this,” Malone said about vaccine mandates in the interview. “And they are lawless. They completely disregard bioethics. They completely disregard the federal common rule. They have broken all the rules that I know of, that I’ve been trained [in] for years and years and years.”
Gettr launched this year and is the brainchild of Jason Miller, who is a former senior adviser to the Trump administration and the CEO of Gettr. Miller has contended that the platform will remain open to opinions from across the political spectrum and will not be censored.

The social media platform has an option to “import their existing tweets into this new platform,” It also boasts longer character count posts and clearer photos.
“GETTR is the marketplace of ideas. We will not cancel people for their political opinions, and GETTR offers far more features and better technology than anything else out there,” Miller proclaimed in a statement.

Rogan has fearlessly criticized Big Tech and has faced severe backlash from the left over his views. He has previously warned that Big Tech is changing American politics and not in a good way.
“All these, like, Internet companies, whether it’s Google or whether it’s Facebook or Instagram, if they can just censor you based on ideology, then you don’t have freedom of speech.” he claimed suggesting that Big Tech is “some sort of utility” and then concluded, “when it’s literally one of the main two or three ways that human beings share ideas across the planet f**king earth, it’s bigger than just a company. And, and I don’t know what the solution to that is, but we have to have that conversation,” he said according to NewsBusters.
Twitter also banned Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene over the weekend for her views on COVID vaccines as well.
