Former President Donald Trump brutally poked the leftist badgers on Tuesday by announcing he will hold a press conference on the anniversary of the Jan. 6 riot, proclaiming that “the insurrection took place on November 3rd” of last year.

“Why isn’t the [House] Unselect Committee of highly partisan political hacks investigating the CAUSE of the January 6th protest, which was the rigged Presidential Election of 2020?” Trump asked in a statement from his Save America PAC. “Does anybody notice that they want to stay as far away from that topic as possible, the numbers don’t work for them, or even come close. The only thing they can do is not talk about it.”

“Look at what is going on now in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, and to a lesser extent, Michigan where the numbers are horrendously corrupt in Detroit, but the weak Republican RINOs in the Michigan House and Senate don’t want to touch the subject. In many ways a RINO is worse than a Radical Left Democrat, because you don’t know where they are coming from and you have no idea how bad they really are for our Country. The good news is there are fewer and fewer RINOs left as we elect strong Patriots who love America,” he continued.

“I will be having a news conference on January 6th at Mar-a-Lago to discuss all of these points, and more,” Trump announced. “Until then, remember, the insurrection took place on November 3rd, it was the completely unarmed protest of the rigged election that took place on January 6th.”

Trump is apparently not backing down over his election fraud accusations despite the left and the media repeatedly calling him a liar over it. He’s sticking to his guns and he’s doubling down on going after the states where he contends voter fraud took place.

He’s also not taking the hit for the Jan. 6 riot the way the Jan. 6 House Select Committee and Democrats want him to.

Faux conservative CNN commentator S.E. Cupp slammed Trump for holding what she called a “propaganda event.” She made the assertion Wednesday on CNN’s “New Day” with co-anchor John Berman.

“That makes me physically ill, John. January 6th was one of the darkest days in modern American history,” Cupp declared. “People lost their lives that day for one reason, and one reason only: Donald Trump refuses to accept the outcome of an election.”

“He still refuses to accept that, he is still stoking that anger and that delusion, and the idea that he would hold any kind of propaganda event — Because let’s be clear, that’s what it will be, where he takes yet another opportunity to spread more lies, which I presume he will, where he exploits a tragedy, which I presume he will, and where he potentially stokes more violence and encourages, either tacitly or explicitly, people to try it again. Well, it makes me nauseous. It makes me sad and very nervous and afraid for what that event is going to do,” she asserted.

Democrats have charged more than 700 people in connection to the riot. A number of them have now received prison sentences and many have had their lives turned upside down and ruined by the left over it.

The longest sentence to be given out so far is more than five years. A man who threw a wooden plank at police officers before spraying them with a fire extinguisher that he then threw received that sentence. That is in contrast to most of the Black Lives Matter protesters who walked free after taking part in violent and sometimes deadly protests in 2020.

Earlier this month, Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) urged the Jan. 6 committee to tour the jail facilities where defendants are being detained, according to the New York Post. She called the conditions and treatment of the protesters “outrageous.”

The leftist panel is now subpoenaing a number of Trump allies for documents and communications related to the riot, looking for any crumb they can find tying Trump and Republicans to the riot so they can attempt to throw them in jail. Three have refused to comply.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) laid out a rough outline of Democrats’ plans to commemorate the anniversary of the riot, including a panel discussion by historians and an evening vigil. The event will be live-streamed, according to The Hill.

“Jan. 6 was one of the darkest days in our democracy,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki stated, announcing that the White House will commemorate the anniversary of the event. “It was a day when our nation’s capital was under attack and I think there’s no question you’ll see us commemorate that day.”
