Fresh off of her fight with Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minnesota, Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colorado, is finding herself in a new catfight with a different member of ‘the Squad,’ Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-New York.
Well, less of a fight and more AOC acting like a mean girl from high school by making snarky comments to her friends (Twitter) about Boebert’s recent Christmas card.
See, Boebert decided to rally her family for the tradition, but the Grinch-y Democrat from New York didn’t particularly like the way she did it.
“Tell me again where Christ said ‘use the commemoration of my birth to flex violent weapons for personal political gain’?” Ocasio-Cortez snarked. “lol @ all the years Republicans spent on cultural hysteria of society ‘erasing Christmas and it’s meaning’ when they’re doing that fine all on their own.”

She attempted to jab further in a reply that reveals how little she thinks of Boebert’s intelligence (and likely, the intellectual capacity of anyone on the other side of the political aisle.)
“When you pose in front of a Christmas Tree and can name all those guns but can’t name the gifts of the Wise Men.”

Unfortunately for AOC, she’s a little too old for the Regina George routine, and was roundly flogged on Twitter for her disdain, as well as her attempt to “flex” her knowledge of Christ and Christmas:
Violent weapons? Is a knife to cut fish a violent weapon? The tools may change, but it doesn’t make something a full negative. Because several people get stabbed with a knife doesn’t mean we should stop people from using knives.

Tell me again where Jesus said we have a right to abort babies, which is your belief.

If they aren’t hurting anybody why should anyone judge them? Try spreading positive vibes instead of being negative. Doesn’t take a lot of energy to be nice.

Jesus did tell us to protect ourselves:
Luke 11:21 “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe.”
Luke 22:36 “He said to them, ‘But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.'”

A knife is a violent weapon…a car can be used as a violent weapon (see Waukesha), I don’t see you having a problem with those objects.
