Rocker Ted Nugent has a problem with authority, but that’s not terribly surprising if one knows anything about him. However, his recent “Rant of the Year” on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ left the show’s host speechless as Nugent ripped through the (Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms) ATF, (Drug Enforcement Agency) DEA, and (Federal Bureau of Investigation) FBI government agencies.
Whether you like him or not, the 90-second video is chock full of good points and valid points of contention, as well as profanity.
“All you ATF agents out there, you soulless p****s, how do you not challenge your boss that your agency is against the law in the United States of America? And I know some of these guys, and some of these guys are pretty good guys,” Nugent claimed. “But if you’re a pretty good bass player, you couldn’t be in my band because you have to be a really good bass player, they have to be the best bass player. And you have to be honest, and you have to stand up for what you believe in.”
He continued on in this fashion for the entire clip, and oh boy, does he bring the heat:

“And all you ATF agents, and DEA agents, and FBI agents, you took an oath to the Constitution of the United States of America. You PUNKS! Every day you violate that sacred oath,” Nugent charged, his voice rising. “How can you live with yourselves? How can you face your children? Knowing you support an agency that has to do with alcohol, tobacco and firearms?”
“Don’t you know deep in your soul that that is so stupid and anti-American that you must have bouts of guilt?” the ‘Cat Scratch Fever’ singer asked rhetorically. “And I would recommend that you implement those bouts of guilt and you fight with good Americans to eliminate these illegal, immoral, anti-American, anti-freedom, oath-violating bureaucracies. I rest my case. And now if you come after me because of my ‘Joe Rogan rant’ bring it the f**k on.”
The show’s host could only whisper a “wow” into the microphone, showing that Nugent’s electric hatred for the aforementioned agencies was purely stunning.
Twitter users – rarely afflicted by speechlessness – got their say in:
I like honest people, alcohol, tobacco and firearms too. I have found the best way to make a difference in bureaucracies, is to always do the right thing, be trustworthy, and point out when other people are bad at their jobs.

Listening to Ted (Duck Dynasty) Nugent about how government agencies work is as comical as taking medical advice from #JoeRogan

How enlightening and well thought out. A buzz phrase, his name and the word never in all capitals. Now I’m certain Ted can’t understand the constitution. Thanks you saved me so much time!

He’s right. When we see judges and elected officials surrendering their oath and ethics in order to remain safe from the establishment, how can we expect honest bureaucrats (and there are a few) to stand up to the establishment?
