Leftist media outlet Axios is seemingly shocked and horrified that conservatives have taken the advice from liberals seriously to “go and build your own” when they objected to censorship on social media, in publishing houses, and generally on the internet.

For years the vitriolic sentiment coming from much of the left was “If you feel social media is biased against you, you should just build your own.”  And according to Axios, that is exactly what conservatives are doing by building their own “echo chamber.”

The minute that outlets such as Gettr, Parler, Rumble, and former President Donald Trump’s new social media company, called Truth Social started to build platforms that were free of censorship and catered to conservatives, the left found their “rage” button and pounded it while mocking those on the right.

“Conservatives are aggressively building their own apps, phones, cryptocurrencies and publishing houses in an attempt to circumvent what they see as an increasingly liberal Internet and media ecosystem,” Axios reported, insinuating that conservative tech outlets and organizations are somehow sinister and should not be funded or supported.

Despite the faux outrage from Axios, it should be noted that it is not out of the ordinary for news outlets to have their own apps.

“Conservative media has been a powerhouse for a long time,” the leftist outlet noted, “but this phase of its expansion isn’t just about more or louder conservative voices — it’s about building an entire conservative ecosystem.”

The right has been forced to develop its own avenues for free speech because the left has been so aggressive in censoring, blacklisting, and canceling them. They had no alternative. Either develop your own social platforms or be silenced forever. They chose the former and now the left is angry over it and determined to put conservatives back in their place, silent and submissive.

Axios also noted that “Many of these efforts couldn’t exist without the backing of major corporate figures and billionaires who are eager to push back against things like ‘censorship’ and ‘cancel culture.'”

As conservative pundit John Nolte astutely pointed out at Breitbart: “After decades of dealing with the right’s castrated, house-trained McCains, Romney’s, Bushes, Kristols, and National Reviews, the media are still shell-shocked over this new generation’s awesome belligerence towards them (which our founder Andrew Breitbart deserves much credit for). And so, like a mob of fat, comfortable, uptight Margaret Dumonts in the face of Groucho Marx, the media’s jaws still drop when our response to their shame campaigns is a middle finger and poke in the eye.”

“Good grief, did these f**king fascists honestly believe they could blacklist a former President of the United States, and we would sit there and do nothing? Did these f**king Nazis seriously think they could monopolize the public square and then blacklist fundamental truths about things like biological sex, and we would just roll over like a Jonah Goldberg?” he added expressing a strong sentiment that many conservatives very much agree with.

Conservatives are eager to build their own platforms:
