Marjorie Taylor Greene scorches weak GOP House leadership in fiery Twitter thread: ‘I don’t back down’

U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene didn’t hold anything back in a withering barrage from her weaponized Twitter account in which she called out GOP House leadership which has been repeatedly steamrolled by Nancy Pelosi and her lockstep Democrat caucus who have been greatly aided by a handful of RINOs collaborating with the enemy.

On Friday, the Georgia congresswoman tweeted out a link to a Washington Examiner story detailing remarks that she made about House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy during an appearance on Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz’s “Firebrand” podcast, stating that the California Republican was at fault for the “failure of our leadership” and that his aspirations to assume the speaker’s gavel are unrealistic if the Dems get clobbered in the midterm elections as expected.

“We know that Kevin McCarthy has a problem in our conference. He doesn’t have the full support to be speaker,” she said. “He doesn’t have the votes that are there.”

With the cat out of the bag that the feckless McCarthy’s failure to stand up to Democrats and to reign in renegades including bad actor Liz Cheney, anti-Trump whiner Adam Kinzinger and the other Republicans who joined the opposition to pass President Biden’s infrastructure boondoggle hasn’t exactly instilled confidence in the pro-America contingent of members, MTG upped the ante with her epic tweetstorm.

Having held back for a week after the 13 RINOs delivered an early Christmas present to the White House along with the Democrats’ latest circus when they stripped Rep. Paul Gosar of his committee assignments after he tweeted out a video that was harmful to the delicate feelings of socialist diva Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Taylor Greene unloaded.

“I waited a week to see if action would be taken, after 13 Republican traitors voted to pass Biden’s agenda before speaking publicly,” she wrote. “Nothing happened. Well not exactly. @DrPaulGosar got kicked off committees for a cartoon, and @RepLizCheney & @AdamKinzinger voted for it,” she added, in an opening salvo against the dastardly duo.

“Remember, 11 “R’s” voted with D’s to kick me off committees supposedly for social media post well before I even ran for Congress, and I was publicly chastised by the GOP Leader several times for my words. But I don’t back down & always keep fighting, & have the People’s support,” she wrote.

“Committees are useless in the minority & everyone knows it bc Republicans have stopped nothing,” she opined. “I’ve been far more effective without them But Republican traitors have hurt us. Without 19 R Sen & 13 R House Members, there would be no Infrastructure or BBB bill right now.”

She then singled out Rep. John Katko, slamming the New Yorker as a liar whose early vote provided cover, “opening the door for the other 12 turncoats to help Pelosi beat the Squad & pass Biden’s agenda.”

She added, “McCarthy, Scalise, & our entire conference worked to get everyone to vote NO to the Infrastructure bill bc we all knew that bill was tied to the BBB bill, which is full passage of Biden’s agenda & the Green New Deal. 6 Dems bravely voted NO, but Katko led 12 R’s to vote YES.”

Greene blamed Katko for caving on the infrastructure bill.

“Remember, the Progressives said the Infrastructure & BBB bill were tied together, ‘lock and key,'” she said. “13 Republican House members handed Pelosi the key. On a silver platter. Katko voted 1st then 12 more R turncoats, & they unlocked the door to the BBB bill, Biden’s agenda.”

She once again flogged Cheney and Kinzinger, tweeting: “All the while, the 2 worst members of our House GOP conference take their marching orders from Nancy Pelosi on her witch hunt J6 committee. Rep Liz Cheney & Adam Kinzinger scheme with Democrats on how to destroy Trump & his allies, while still being members of our conference.”

Greene then turned to Pelosi’s sham “insurrection” committee.

“Not only is President Trump, innocent former members of his admin, innocent people, and Members of Congress targets of Pelosi’s fake J6 committee, so is our leader Kevin McCarthy,” she wrote. “’Republicans’ Cheney & Kinzinger (still members of our conference) work to hurt us all.”

She also invoked the “T-word” to describe the treacherous trio, “Republican traitors Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, & John Katko are openly and diligently working with Pelosi and Democrats completely against Republican voters and hurting our country. They still have ALL their committees & hold their ranking positions with no consequences.”

Turning up the heat, Greene called for Cheney and Kinzinger to be run out of the House GOP and Katko to be stripped of his Homeland Security Committee status. “This type of sadistic behavior can NOT be tolerated. They must be held accountable for their reprehensible actions. Rep Liz Cheney and Rep Adam Kinzinger must be kicked out of House GOP! Rep John Katko must be stripped of his ranking title on the Homeland Security Committee!”

She added, “Republican voters know exactly what Democrats are all about, but it’s the RINOs and Republican traitors that hurt us the most. They talk like a Republican then vote like a Democrat. But the Republicans that openly help Biden & openly attack Republicans are real enemies.”

Greene concluded by expressing a lack of confidence in “leadership” without naming McCarthy.

“Our GOP Conference needs strong leadership that will stop traitors in our conference, protect our country from the Democrat’s America Last agenda & lead for America First. I don’t hold grudges & don’t care who it is, I just want the job done. That’s who will get my vote,” she declared.

With 2022 shaping up to be a sea change election in which voters strike back at the power-mad Pelosi, the vicious harpies who comprise “The Squad” and the flagrant assault on the nation by Biden and his administration, it likely won’t only be Democrats who are ousted from power, their House enablers also stand to be tossed out.
