Critics lay into Chris Cuomo, who is spotted buying wreath after bashing Christmas and ‘woke folks’

Chris Cuomo is taking fire from critics after he was spotted unloading holiday wreaths following the CNN personality’s rant in which he maligned Christmas while, at the same time, ripping the “woke” left’s jihad against Thanksgiving.

On Tuesday’s edition of his SiriusXM podcast, “Let’s Get After It with Chris Cuomo,” the host offered up his perspective on the holidays, remarking that “Christmas doesn’t do it for me” and that he is “not a big fan of X mas,” as he ticked off his opinions on New Year’s being “depressing” and “it’s like one of the highest suicide points of the year.”

However, his remarks that Christmas just “doesn’t do it” for him were exposed as a sham when images hit social media showing the anchor clad in shorts, a hoodie and a stocking cap loading wreaths and other yuletide greenery into his Tesla in the Hamptons and then transporting it to his home where it was unloaded by him and his wife Cristina, bringing Twitter ridicule with one user likening him to an elf on a shelf.

More notable than Cuomo’s Christmas hypocrisy was his defense of Thanksgiving  -which he identified as his favorite holiday – from the “woke” mob and their ridiculous assertion that the cherished traditional holiday is really a celebration of white genocide.

“And now you woke folk trying to kill it for me,” Cuomo said. “Listen, man, you know, don’t come up at me with all this pilgrim stuff.”

“I don’t give a damn about the pilgrims and the indigenous people, the Native Americans, the Indians, wherever, whatever, whatever group of them wants to be called,“ he added. “I don’t care about any of that.”

“I care about the suffrage. I care about the exploitation. But I don’t need that story for Thanksgiving. I don’t need it at all,” he continued.

Cuomo also had a word of advice for the perpetually miserable “woke” folks: “Stop seeing your happiness as a function of taking someone else down.”

Considering Cuomo’s employer, his remarks on the woke inquisition that has consumed America are remarkable, especially his defense of Thanksgiving, a holiday that the lunatic fringe including the Marxist-inspired Black Lives Matter have made it their mission in life to ruin for everyone who doesn’t share their ideology.

The group’s assertion that Americans are “eating dry turkey and overcooked stuffing on stolen land” isn’t a sentiment that is likely held by Cuomo who has drawn praise for standing up to the cultural cleansers.

When the left has gone so “woke” that even Chris Cuomo is calling them out, it is a good indication that they have already lost the battle for America’s hearts and minds.
