Seth Rogen deserves credit for once again providing a perfect example of how the cultural elite are indifferent to the cultural elite as well as the extent to which Hollywood celebs exist in a parallel universe that is completely detached from reality.

On the day before Thanksgiving, the actor and producer served up an opinion that may be the dumbest of the year from a holier-than-thou celebrity and, considering the competition from his fellow elitists in the entertainment industry, that speaks volumes.

The actor and filmmaker, who reportedly has a net worth of approximately $80 million, was dismissive about the rampant crime that has taken root in Los Angeles which like many other Democrat-controlled cities, has descended into a lawless dystopia as a result of the policies of leftist officials who in their fervor for “social justice” have sent the clear message to criminals that when it comes to crimes against property including theft, there will be few consequences for their actions.

The Canadian-born celeb drew ridicule and scorn after a Twitter exchange with YouTuber Casey Neistat who took to the platform to voice his dismay over his car being robbed, expressing his opinion that “Los Angeles is a crime riddled 3rd world sh*thole of a city” while praising the police officers who “arrested the motherf**er” and got the stolen property back.

Rogan’s tone-deaf response was, “Dude I’ve lived here for over 20 years. You’re nuts haha. It’s lovely here. Don’t leave anything valuable in it. It’s called living in a big city.”

In a follow-up tweet hours later, Rogan haughtily told Neistat that while he is entitled to be angry and that being robbed is really no big deal, putting a positive spin on the “15 or so” times that he himself has been a crime victim.

“You can be mad but I guess I don’t personally view my car as an extension of myself and I’ve never really felt violated any of the 15 or so times my car was broken in to. Once a guy accidentally left a cool knife in my car so if it keeps happening you might get a little treat.” Rogan tweeted.

Neistat noted that he didn’t get any “treat” and that the decorations for his young daughter’s birthday party were stolen while incredulously inquiring how Rogan’s car could be broken into so many times.

Rogan brushed it off as just a normal consequence of parking on the street and also took exception with Neistat’s description of Los Angeles, tweeting that “LA is not some sh-thole city. As far as big cities go it has a lot going for it.”

As could be expected, Rogan was deservedly dragged on Twitter over his philosophy on crime.

As far as his Twitter critics, Rogen had a message.

Of course, Rogan like his fellow leftist celeb snobs ensconced in their gated mansions and protected by heavily-armed private security are insulated from the crime wave that has so consumed the “sh*thole city” that the overwhelmed LAPD just released a statement telling residents to just “cooperate and comply” when being robbed, an exclamation point on the dystopian hellscape that the City Of Angels has become under Democrat rule.

In addition to his filmography, the versatile Rogan also fancies himself as an inventor, recently taking to Twitter to proudly promote a rolling tray in a video of the “Santa Inc.” star giving a product demo that culminated in his burning of a large joint.

The multi-millionaire Rogen may be living in a fog of cannabis and indifference where robbery is no big deal but the little people are increasingly finding themselves as the victims in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and other Democrat strongholds with the crime getting worse by the day as celebs continue to make excuses for it.
