The “woke” political left won’t be satisfied until they have sucked the joy out of every American holiday with few being more despised by the unhinged radicals than Thanksgiving, a day when families and friends gather to reflect, eat turkey and all the trimmings and watch football.

While they were largely unsuccessful in exploiting the ongoing COVID pandemic to discourage the traditional Thanksgiving feast this year, leftists in the media have instead focused on using their forums to encourage their followers to disrupt the festivities by introducing incendiary political issues at the dinner table, with Joy Behar’s declaration that LGBTQ +++ community members who remain in the closet should use the occasion to announce their sexual preferences to their families.

During Wednesday’s edition of the popular ABC daytime television series “The View,” the overbearing redhead who has used her television pulpit to become one of the thought leaders of the modern left and whose own leftist ideology has given her a free pass after she once appeared in blackface, served up her grand idea during a conversation over a recent poll showing that the vast majority were against discussing politics at the dinner table.

With fellow host Whoopi Goldberg oozing contempt over a recently released Quinnipiac University poll showing that an overwhelming two-thirds of Americans wished to enjoy the holiday by staying away from politics, Behar cracked open the door for members of the demographic that is crucial to Democrats to come out of the closet, an act that would likely be extremely disruptive in some households on a day when Americans were already being forced to deal with record inflation and shortages of many traditional dinner items.

While expressing her enthusiasm for talking politics at the dinner table, Behar said “I would like to suggest that you, everybody out there, come out to your family this Thanksgiving, just come out, see what happens.”

Goldberg asked, “I’m just curious, come out the door?”

To which Behar clarified herself that she was suggesting that Thanksgiving Day dinner was the time for people to “come out gay” and that her philosophy was to just “be yourself,” although she does deserve some credit for admitting that she is annoying.

Her fellow hosts were supportive of the idea while acknowledging that there could be fights, that “maybe they’ll be good fights” and, just like that, the seeds of discontent were planted that the selfish commandeering of the holiday dinner table for narcissistic sexual orientation grandstanding was a virtuous idea.

Twitter users reacted to Behar’s latest idiotic contribution to the poisoned political dialogue in a nation that has been divided as never before by Democrats and the ongoing media clown show put on by their surrogates with some of the harshest criticism coming from people who are gay.

Despite the left’s temper tantrums that Thanksgiving is a celebration of genocide and every effort to spoil it for everybody who doesn’t share their sour, puritanical worldviews, the overwhelming majority of Americans who could care less about what Joy Behar and her fellow travelers think tuned them out and had a great holiday.
