Lawyer, author, and “The Mark Levin Show” host Mark Levin had some strong words for MSNBC and CNN, and in particular MSNBC host Joy Reid.

Levin’s comments weren’t on his own show, however. On Monday, as a guest of Fox News‘ Sean Hannity on his show, “Hannity,” Levin took the opportunity to thunder against much of the media for the way it has handled the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse was recently acquitted of murder and other charges when his lawyers made a successful case for self-defense.

Levin’s first targets appeared when Hannity played a clip of ABC’s “The View.” Levin immediately blasted the hosts, saying “First of all, why do we care what they say on The View? They have a collective IQ of negative 17. They’re like a bunch of [gossips].”

Levin went on to say that we are experiencing a breakdown of law and order and that this breakdown has “been institutionalized by the Democrat Party and their media. It’s been institutionalized by them. And the media is so racist now. We don’t have a free press. We have a tyrannical press.”

As he worked himself up in his denouncements, Levin also had some strong names to hurl at MSNBC and CNN, calling them “MSLSD [presumably a take on the hallucinogenic drug LSD] or CNN, what I call the Constipated News Network.”

“They talk about white justice, system set up for white people. That’s Joy Reid and her limited brain capacity. Then there’s another one in there, Tiffany [Cross] I think her name is, she’s trying to outdo Joy Reid.”

“I just want to know on MSLSD and the Constipated News Network why they claim to be so concerned and yet they don’t cover any of this. If I hadn’t read this, what I just read to you would not be on any national television program. Not one,” he told Hannity.

Apart from the actual reporters and the networks themselves, Levin also took time to call out the corporations that own a significant share of the media, such as MSNBC’s parent Comcast, and CNN’s parent AT&T, denouncing them as “siding with these Marxists, these kooks, these radicals.”

Some easy hits against the leftist media were made over their attempts to conflate the Rittenhouse trial with progressive ideas of racial struggle and white privilege, noting that everyone involved, both Rittenhouse and the people he shot, and even the lawyers and judge at his trial, were all white.

“And somehow it was racist? That’s pretty sick,” said Levin of the progressive view of the trial.

Levin pointed out that there were a number of gunshot victims in Chicago over the last weekend that went mostly unreported, due to black on black crime not fitting the racial narrative being set by the progressive left, then went on to claim that nobody, especially at MSNBC and CNN, would’ve noticed or cared had he not mentioned them just then.

Levin lamented the erosion of traditional values and blamed the media for much of it: “the culture in decline is led by the racist media in this country.”

The reason for this decline, according to Levin, is that the liberal media keeps hiring “reprobates, malcontents, and miscreants who hate this country, will undermine this nation, who do not care for law enforcement because when they go home, they’re not going into these communities.”

Before he was forced to conclude his monologue by Hannity for time reasons, Levin took aim at the left and the Democrats one last time:

“The greatest threat we face in this country right now is the American media and the Democrat Party who are at war with our culture and our society and constitutional system.”
