A CNN segment outside the Kenosha County Courthouse went off the rails Friday afternoon when a loud, unhinged, foul-mouthed woman began ranting and raving at a pro-Rittenhouse supporter for believing in due process and the rule of law.

The segment began with CNN correspondent Adrienne Broaddus speaking with the family of Jacob Blake, the accused rapist and convicted sexual abuser who was shot by police when he resisted arrest and picked up a knife during an Aug. 23rd, 2020 police encounter in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

But as one of the family members was speaking, a woman standing behind him began yelling.

“You’re the people that are actually violent!” the woman hollered to a pro-Rittenhouse supporter who was holding up a “Free Kyle” sign.

“You are the nutcases that burn …,” she continued, though the rest of what she said was extremely difficult to decipher.

Just to be clear, it is generally left-wing extremists aligned with Black Lives Matter and Antifa who are most known for acting out violently and — especially — burning things.

Returning to Blake, it was, in fact, his justified shooting by police that triggered the Kenosha riots, which involved left-wing extremists setting fire to the city.

The riots, in turn, motivated Kyle Rittenhouse to travel to the city — where his family members live and he works — to provide medical aid and protect businesses.

During the process of protecting the community, he was chased by a violent extremist with a criminal record and opened fire in self-defense, killing the extremist. Two other violent extremists with criminal records then gave chase, prompting Rittenhouse to open fire again, killing one and injuring the other.

On Friday, the young man was acquitted of all charges, thus proving that he had, indeed, acted in self-defense.

Incidentally, his acquittal triggered more violent rioting by left-wing extremists:

But to the unhinged woman shouting like a maniac outside the Kenosha County Courthouse, it appears the actual truth is the real lie.

“You’re un-American! You’re un-patriot! You trust an all-white jury. I bet you do. Now it’s all this, but a minute ago you were worried. You’re ignorant!” she continued shrieking at the Rittenhouse supporter.

“I would defend this verdict regardless!” the man fired back.

It’s assuming he meant “regardless” of race.

Ironically, it’s strongly believed that had Rittenhouse been a black man out in Kenosha providing medical aid and protecting businesses, he’d now be labeled an “Uncle Tom” by the left for bucking Democrat Party orthodoxy and standing up to Black Lives Matter/Antifa extremists:

Conversely, conservatives staunchly maintain that they’d have taken his side as well, because right is right, and wrong is wrong.

“Piece of sh*t!” the unhinged woman yelled one last time before finally zipping it and allowing the CNN segment to continue.

“So, we’re going to wrap. That’s what’s playing out here. Two different beliefs today, and I’m going to send it back to you,” Broaddus said as she sent the segment back to the studio.

She wasn’t wrong. There do appear to be two different belief systems — one rooted in the facts of the case, and the other rooted in lies.

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald suspects that the second belief system is a result of some Americans blindly believing the media’s false narratives instead of taking the time to review the evidence for themselves.

“The media misled not just the American public, but the entire world,” Greenwald said during an appearance late Friday on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

It doesn’t help, he added, that the left views everything through the prism of race: Because Rittenhouse is white, he must be a guilty white supremacist.

“So even in a case where, on its face, race has nothing to do with it, it’s a white person who shot three white people, all of whom did some form of aggression against him, they still end up [going with the white supremacy narrative] it because it’s the only way they can understand the world,” he explained.

Listen:

And again, even if Rittenhouse were black, they’d likely be saying the same thing
