Kamala’s husband explains her bumbling failures with ‘breaking barriers’: ‘To be first in so many things is hard’

Vice President Kamala Harris traveled across the pond this week in an effort to bolster her global image in the aftermath of President Joe Biden’s trip to meet with global leaders at last week’s G20 summit along with the big United Nations COP26 climate change conference.

Harris, who is literally only a heartbeat away from becoming the nation’s 47th president has repeatedly shown that she isn’t up to the job and has been widely panned for her bizarre demeanor marked by a tendency to cackle uncontrollably at times when she is put on the spot, hardly the type of behavior that instills confidence that she is ready to step in for Biden if necessary.

With her job approval ratings even lower than those of her befuddled boss – a horrific 28 percent according to a recent poll – it would seem that a timely European junket would be a prime opportunity to distance herself from the domestic dumpster fire that has engulfed the Biden administration, but her roadshow isn’t exactly earning rave reviews.

But according to her husband Doug Emhoff, any criticism of his spouse can be explained away by resentment that she is the “first,” a dog whistle excuse that covers race as well as gender, the two primary defenses of Democrats that are cynically used to discredit legitimate criticism.

During a speech at a gender equality forum in Paris, the second gentleman reportedly said, “One of the things I’ve learned from being married to Kamala Harris is that to be first in so many things is hard.

“She said once that breaking barriers involves breaking, and when you break something sometimes you get cut, and when you get cut, sometimes you bleed. … But it’s worth it,” he added.

Harris has been showered with ridicule over a video of a visit to the COVID lab at the Pasteur Institute where she appeared to use a phony French accent to address scientists.

The Twitter response was scathing.

Former Secretary Of State Mike Pompeo also unloaded on Harris’ phoniness during an appearance with Fox News’ host Sean Hannity.

“Boy, Sean, where to begin? The clip from Vice President Harris is just it’s more than embarrassing on the world stage … Our adversaries watch that and see weakness,” he said. “They see people who aren’t serious, they see people who aren’t determined precisely the opposite of what we did for four years. It feels a lot more like the Carter administration in terms of how they view America as a danger to the world and apologize everywhere they go.”

No less scathing was the response to Emhoff’s lame excuse-making for his better half.

Harris – who is also the absentee border czar at a time when the nation is being overrun by illegal immigrants – has been an abject disaster for an administration that is desperate to redirect attention from Biden’s failures. The inexperienced former senator’s lack of qualifications other than to check off multiple boxes for the left’s identity requirements form and to placate kingmaker Rep. James Clyburn, who demanded a black female running mate after saving Biden during the primaries, has set her up for failure.

No amount of excuse-making is going to distract from that ugly fact, which is yet another problem for the regime.
