Vice President Kamala Harris sparked heavy criticism as many thought she made a complete fool of herself during a visit to a COVID-19 lab in Paris where she not only spoke down to the scientists in attendance but did so with a cringe-worthy fake French accent.
Harris toured the Institut Pasteur and addressed the U.S.-France alliance on scientific research, evidently trying to mend the breach between the U.S. and France after Biden’s disastrous submarine snafu.
She contended that politicians should be more like scientists, which makes absolutely no sense to anyone and in fact, is a recipe for disaster when it comes to geopolitics.
“One of the things people in politics and government should really take from the approach of scientists- scientists operate with a hypothesis. I love that,” Harris remarked on Monday. “A hypothesis- it’s well-thought-out, it’s well-planned, they start out with a hypothesis and then they test it out knowing invariably, you’re trying something for the first time, there will be glitches, there will be mistakes. Then everyone gets together, no one gets beat up about it, you analyze it- what went wrong, reevaluate, update the hypothesis and start again.”

She mocked politicians who always stick to “The Plan” that they campaigned on and were elected to carry out. While doing so, she seemed to use a condescending phony French dialect to make her points.
“In government, we campaign with ‘The Plan,’” Harris emphatically stated. “Uppercase T, uppercase P, ‘The Plan!’ And then the environment is such we’re expected to defend ‘The Plan’ even when the first time we roll it out there may be some glitches and it’s time to reevaluate and then do it again.”
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called it “more than embarrassing.”
“The clip from Vice President Harris is just it’s more than embarrassing on the world stage … Our adversaries watch that and see weakness. They see people who aren’t serious, they see people who aren’t determined precisely the opposite of what we did for four years. It feels a lot more like the Carter administration in terms of how they view America as a danger to the world and apologize everywhere they go,” Pompeo noted during a segment on Fox News host Sean Hannity’s show.
“We need to get serious. You just trip through the Russians, the Chinese, the North Koreans, the Iranians. You just trip through all of our adversaries. These adversaries can see that we’re focused on diversity inclusion in our military. We’re focused on trying to fly our jets with green energy, and they’re focused on how to build out a military that can undo our republic. We need an administration that is serious about putting America first, not America last, as they seem to have done. Prioritizing climate change as America’s most significant national security threat is an enormous mistake,” he astutely concluded.
Others piled on over her “cringe” remarks on social media.
“I thought we canceled pepe lepew,” Washington Examiner commentator Becket Adams quipped.
“Is she using a FRENCH ACCENT?!” asked Abigail Marone, who is the press secretary for Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), and then said, “I love this episode of Veep.”
“There really are no words anymore… #AuRevoir,” Fox News contributor Joe Concha observed.
“I wonder if she practiced accents with her child actor friends,” GOP strategist Matt Whitlock snarked.
“This is what Biden thinks of France, our oldest ally,” CNN contributor Scott Jennings also tweeted.
Biden’s polls are horrific currently, but Harris’ are far worse. Incidents such as this current insult to the French are destined to make her even more unpopular if that is possible.
A recent USA Today/Suffolk University poll shows Harris with a 28 percent approval rating. For context, that’s ten points lower than Biden’s current dismal approval rating.
Harris was roasted on social media for her pandering:
I have a three words… twenty-eight percent

Hard to watch. Can we not do better in picking our leaders in America with a population of 335 million? Sad, sad, sad.
