Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Sean Parnell heatedly denied suspiciously timed accusations by his estranged wife in court during a custody hearing that he hit their three children and choked her.

The wife of the Afghanistan combat veteran and author is accusing him of physical and verbal abuse.
She asserted that he tried to choke her and in order to get free, she had to bite him. “He was strangling me,” she declared, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The media outlet is alleging that Parnell “tried and failed to win a court order silencing his wife.”
“In tears, Laurie Parnell said that her husband would call her a ‘whore’ and a ‘piece of s***.’ She also testified that he once put her out of the car and left her by the road after they argued when he told her she had to get an abortion,” the Inquirer reported. “The estranged wife also testified that he once slapped one of the children hard enough to leave fingerprint-shaped welts through the back of the boy’s T-shirt.”
The wife accused him of also punching a closet door with such force that it swung into one of their children’s faces and left a bruise. She added he told his child that it was his fault as well.
To top it off, she alleged that he was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder along with a “traumatic brain injury.”
She also claimed she did not come forward previously because the family relied on his speaking and TV jobs, according to reporting by the Inquirer.
“Let me empathically state: I have never raised a hand in anger towards my wife or any of our three children,” Parnell told the media outlet on Monday. “What happened today in court was not justice, nor did it have any basis in fact or truth. Next week, I’ll have an opportunity to present the truth to the court and I look forward to that opportunity.”

The couple has been separated for three years and share equal custody of their three children.
A court hearing is on the docket for next week where the Trump-endorsed candidate will mount a vigorous defense against his estranged wife’s allegations.
The race to win the Republican primary in Pennsylvania has been a competitive one that has seen multiple attacks against Parnell. In September, one of his Republican rivals, Jeff Bartos, revealed that Parnell’s wife had sought two restraining orders against her husband. Neither order lasted more than a few days and a judge later ordered both expunged.
Parnell narrowly lost a race to represent Pennsylvania’s 17th Congressional District last year. He is campaigning to replace Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA). Former President Trump endorsed his candidacy in early September. Immediately after that, Bartos let slip the news of the protective orders.
Democrats are salivating over the allegations against Parnell but no proof has been provided that any of them are true or accurate. Leftists are hoping to capture the state’s Senate seat because Biden narrowly won the state last year. Putting apparent dirty political tricks and gossip aside, that seems to be an unlikely outcome in Pennsylvania.

I stand by Sean Parnell. Maybe you don't. That's okay. We don't have to see eye to eye on everything under the sun.
I just find it funny how, people don't see what's going on & jump to conclusions & accusations right off the bat.
