A loud protest against moderate Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, (D-Ariz.) formed outside of a wedding ceremony she was set to officiate for a friend in Arizona, prompting the distraught bride and her mother to beg protesters to keep quiet during the event.
The rowdy protesters chanted a variety of insults directed at Sinema, at least in part for her continued refusal to back President Joe Biden’s multi-trillion dollar social welfare and climate change bill including “sell-out Sinema,” “Corporate Shill” and “Shame on Sinema.” The radical left demonstrators also held signs declaring “Sinema betrays democrats” and “Representation not prostitution.”
A video of the event showed guests in elaborate costumes – one dressed as a native American with full feathered headgear – was posted to YouTube on Oct 24.
A woman who appeared to be the bride lashed out at the unruly group.
“Thanks for ruining my wedding. I really appreciate it,” the woman in the white dress was heard saying sarcastically. “It’s just my wedding. I really wish I could enjoy my wedding without you ruining it.”
“I know you do,” a demonstrator responded unsympathetically.

A woman wearing a long red dress and oversized sunglasses who said she was the bride’s mother appeared later in the video to plead with protestors to stay quiet for the wedding.
“Could you just go down to the corner for an hour? It’s my daughter’s wedding. Just for an hour — just let her get married, please. This person is not my daughter,” she said, indicating that Sinema was not her daughter.
The protestors argued back and one man indicated they wouldn’t leave until Sinema did.
One person eventually spoke up on behalf of the protestors asking for a compromise to stay quiet during the ceremony and many, but not all, of the demonstrators, acquiesced.
Sinema has been the target of several protests as she and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) have held the line almost on their own to put a wrench in Biden’s massive spending plan.

Two such encounters this month had demonstrators tracking Sinema through the airport and a third at the Boston Marathon. In the first instance, protesters chased her all the way into an airport bathroom where they had the audacity to continue recording her even once she entered the bathroom stall. Biden later claimed it was just “part of the process of being in public office.”
