Tucker Carlson’s new documentary about the so-called “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol threatens to blow a smoking hole in the official narrative that has served as the justification for a dangerous new domestic war on terror and has triggered an epic meltdown from those who are championing it.
The mother of all temper tantrums was set in motion after Carlson aired a preview of “The Patriot Purge” during Wednesday’s edition of his popular Fox News program. The docu-series will premiere on Fox Nation on November 1 and could be a game-changer in the Biden administration’s war against the people.
The trailer starts off with Capitol Hill Police Lt. Michael Byrd’s cold-blooded shooting of Ashli Babbitt, the unarmed female military veteran and Trump supporter followed by video of heavily armed federal agents executing raids along with the ominous words that “the left is hunting the right, sticking them in Guantanamo Bay for American citizens,” a reference to the special D.C. prison where protesters are being held in deplorable conditions.

In an introduction to the preview, Carlson said that the documentary which he and his crew have been working on for six months will “answer a lot of the remaining questions from that day,” a possibility that has rattled cages and flooded Twitter with angry reactions from the malicious actors who have exploited January 6 to demonize and persecute their political adversaries.
Leading the way was Rep. Liz Cheney, Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s hand-picked Republican attack dog in the ongoing travesty of the “bipartisan” congressional inquisition that has already become a sweeping witch hunt.
It appears that @FoxNews is giving @TuckerCarlson a platform to spread the same type of lies that provoked violence on January 6. As @FoxNews knows, the election wasn’t stolen and January 6 was not a “false flag” operation. @rupertmurdoch @jayawallace @Suzannescott @SpeakerRyan https://t.co/ODKZFVUFBa

“It appears that Fox News is giving Tucker Carlson a platform to spread the same type of lies that provoked violence on January 6,” Cheney tweeted. “As Fox News knows, the election wasn’t stolen and January 6 was not a ‘false flag’ operation.”
Also taking to Twitter was disgraced former National Security Council member and impeachment schemer Alexander Vindman who accused Carlson of being “an arsonist of American democracy” and calling for him to be censured.
He is an anarchist; an arsonist of American democracy. How is this different than yelling fire in a crowded theater? Carlson is attempting to incite a riotous mob. He should be censured. I’d like to hear the arguments for/against this being protected speech. https://t.co/xHTaxXo2p2

Other heroes of “the resistance” also howled in outrage.
"It is so appallingly irresponsible that calling it 'appallingly irresponsible' sounds like inexcusable soft-pedaling. It is a demonstrable threat to public safety." https://t.co/sRxNqZijX2

Tucker Carlson is inciting violence. I don’t think people sufficiently understand this. The disinformation he’s spreading is angering people who listen to him. They’re getting really angry. And that anger is going to lead to violence. And innocent people are going to get hurt.

Tucker Carlson is a dangerous anti-democracy demagogue who poses as the libertarian voice of ordinary people, a fabricator who wraps himself in a fake flag of truth, a self-promoter whose duplicity is coated in gelatinous unctuousness. And that's the best I can say about him. https://t.co/QTNeZP6UxE

Even more hysterical was MSNBC’s Joy Reid, aka “the race lady,” who likened Carlson to alternative media personality Alex Jones in a rant against what she called a “Trumpist” Republican Party that is taking aim at “every civic and cultural institution” and “democracy itself” while suggesting that they want to kill people with COVID, a whacky burst of conspiracy-mongering that blows Jones away.
MELTDOWN: Joy Reid starts the show by saying that, if you don't back her, you belong to a party that supports "[dying] from Covid," attacking "our schools & history & democracy itself, banning books, senators defending Nazi salutes & unhinged anti-vax protests at school boards" pic.twitter.com/MuPJtXsuqd

Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the hyper-partisan Anti-Defamation League, dashed off a letter to Lachlan Murdoch ripping the Fox News CEO for what he called an abject, indisputable lie and a blatant attempt to rewrite history,” hysterically asking, “How many more people need to die or how many individuals must subscribe to groundless conspiracies before you say enough is enough?” appearing to suggest that the son of the legendary Rupert Murdoch pull the plug on the documentary.

Carlson punched back hard, landing several body blows on Cheney whom he ripped as a congresswoman from “suburban Virginia who for some reason represents the state of Wyoming in the House,” adding that “This is not CNN, we work for Fox News, our bosses don’t pull people off the air just because some screechy little politician doesn’t like what we say.”
Carlson also pointed out that she hasn’t even seen “The Patriot Purge” and that “Liz Cheney is not waiting for the facts here, she knows for certain that we’ve got weapons of mass destruction and she plans to invade,” a shot at former Vice President Dick Cheney, the congresswoman’s father.

There is a reason why Cheney and her ilk don’t want people to see Carlson’s documentary series, as the host put it before the preview, “the U.S. government has, in fact, launched a new war on terror, but it’s not against al Qaeda, it’s against American citizens.”
He added, “Nothing like this has ever happened in the history of our country. This is an attack on core civil liberties, and it’s essential that you know what’s happening and that you resist it.”
