Don Jr takes major heat for t-shirts ‘mocking’ Alec Baldwin tragedy, then fires back: ‘Screw him!’

Donald Trump Jr. took a shot at family nemesis Alec Baldwin in the aftermath of the tragic incident that took place on the set of the actor’s new western movie.

Baldwin, whose campy portrayal of the younger Trump’s father on NBC late-night flagship “Saturday Night Live” had leftists in stitches, is reeling from the accidental shooting of a cinematographer and director on the New Mexico set of “Rust” when he discharged a prop gun.

Halyna Hutchins succumbed to her injuries after she was rushed to a Santa Fe hospital after Baldwin pulled the trigger, a terrible event that badly shook the actor, who was left distraught and looking for answers on why he was given a “hot gun” by a crew member.

Trump Jr. wasted little time in exploiting the tragedy and raised eyebrows for selling a t-shirt on his website emblazoned with the message that “GUNS DON’T KILL PEOPLE ALEC BALDWIN KILLS PEOPLE”, a jab at the anti-Second Amendment Hollywood activist.

The shirt which sells for $27.99 ($31.99 for XXXXL) is the latest addition to the line of garb that Don Jr. is hawking, much of it with a politically charged message designed to trigger leftists.

Trump also posted a meme on Instagram saying, “Let’s all watch Alec Baldwin blame the gun” which was captioned “It’s only a matter of time.”

In another meme of Baldwin, he posted, “That look when an anti gun nut kills more people with a gun than your extensive firearm collection ever has.”

Some took to Twitter to express outrage at the Baldwin shirt, which they clearly feel was a cheap shot.

Trump Jr. responded in comments on one of his Instagram posts, reacting to suggestions that he is kicking a man when he’s down.

“For those who are out there doing the fake sanctimony about leaving Alec Baldwin alone let’s all remember that Alec Baldwin would be the first person pissing on everyone’s grave if the shoes were on the other foot. Screw him!” he wrote.

Baldwin has been an outspoken anti-gun activist who, like other Hollywood hypocrites who rail against the 2nd Amendment, often star in violent movies and television series in which they brandish weapons and glorify gun violence.

The actor took to Twitter in 2017 to say of a police officer who was caught on video fatally shooting a suspect. “I wonder how it must feel to wrongfully kill someone…” Baldwin wrote in a tweet that has badly backfired on him.

In the aftermath of Baldwin’s mishap, conservative Candace Owens expressed her viewpoint that nothing that the actor has said about former President Donald J. Trump and his supporters “is going to age well.”

Baldwin’s brash demeanor and bullying behavior, especially when it comes to Trump, isn’t likely to win him much sympathy from many but there are others who may be inclined to believe that Don Jr selling t-shirts critical of him may be a bridge too far.
