Former CDC Director so freaked out over his barber not wearing a mask that he took action – and tweeted

Former CDC Director Tom Frieden took to Twitter on Saturday to complain in a triggered tweet about his barber daring to go maskless while cutting his hair.

“Got a haircut today. NO ONE was wearing masks! What IS this? Why is this so difficult? (I used an N95. If people I share air with don’t mask, I need to up my mask game.),” he tweeted.

It is curious that Frieden didn’t just leave the establishment if he was so traumatized by those working there not wearing a mask. He was not at risk since he is ostensibly vaccinated and was wearing a mask himself. It’s also unclear as to what he meant when he said he needs to “up my game.”

Aside from pushing the jab, Frieden, who is also the former New York City health commissioner, is best known for avoiding jail time in 2019 after pleading guilty to groping a longtime family friend in New York. He turned himself in to the police in August of 2018, according to ABC News. The incident actually took place in October of 2017. He was facing up to a year in jail for misdemeanor forcible touching, third-degree sexual abuse, and second-degree harassment charges but since he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, all of the criminal charges were dropped.

People lined up on social media to take a shot at Frieden’s triggered meltdown.

The editor of Twitchy, Greg Pollowitz astutely asked, “why didn’t you leave?”

Another person on Twitter explained why fewer and fewer Americans are wearing a mask these days, “Most people have realized masks are not stopping the virus. They were oversold and they’ve underdelivered. People have moved on and now folks are upset that they’re losing control over the people.”

Another user suggested that Frieden just stay home, “Maybe you should just never leave the house. You know, to be safe.”

“People not wearing masks should be the last of your worries, you weird predator,” stated another individual who took note of Frieden’s run-in with the law.

The former CDC head was roasted over his elitist take on going to a barbershop to get his hair cut while criticizing those serving him because they were maskless:
