Tucker Carlson lambasted the Biden regime for the decision to promote the openly transgender Dr. Rachel Levine to the rank of four-star officer, an admiral, in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. Levine, a biological male, was appointed to the position of U.S. assistant secretary for health in March of 2021.
A story here said the following of Levine’s Senate confirmation:
Conservative critics have argued that, as a so-called “trans woman” who endorses and promotes the notion that individuals can change their “gender identity” at will, Levine lacks the medical credibility and objectivity to be entrusted with hot-button transgender issues. He has been a longtime, outspoken proponent of “gender affirmation” and “sex reassignment” treatment for minors. In a 2017 lecture, he endorsed puberty-blockers to gender-confused children throughout puberty, followed by “sex change” surgery at 18. While transgender surgery “usually” is performed only on adults, Levine said “there are exceptions.”
Last month, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) slammed Levine for his refusal “to say, absolutely, minors shouldn’t be making decisions to amputate their breasts or to amputate their genitalia.”
On his Fox News show, “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the host said he believes the Biden administration continues to demonstrate to the American public and the world writ large that they are simply quite mad.
“Behind the heavily guarded walls of the White House, everyone has gone crazy,” said Carlson. “Just this week the Biden administration declared that a biological man who wears a dress is now a female admiral. And then they sent that brave four-star female admiral out to deliver a speech that read like something out of a D-Day documentary.”
Tucker then played a clip of Levine accepting his appointment.
“I am truly honored to join the ranks of men and women across this great nation who have committed to defend the United States against small and large threats, known and unknown,” said the newly-promoted admiral, adding, “I am honored to serve as the first female four-star officer of the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.”
“Come on,” Carlson said. “They’re daring you to sit there and not say this is ridiculous. But it is, sorry. It is ridiculous. Sorry, not playing along! But they don’t think it is. And so you have to ask yourself, how long will it be before Joe Biden appoints his horse to the Supreme Court? And when he inevitably does do that, you have to ask, how long will it be until CNN informs us, ‘This is a watershed moment for equine rights. Don’t you dare laugh. That would be a hate crime.’”
During the segment, a graphic of Biden in royal garb with the words “The Madness of King Biden” appeared on screen – a fitting moniker and description to be sure.
Comedian Dave Chappelle, who is currently raking in the dough AND living rent-free in the heads of every leftist from sea to shining sea, opined and joked in his latest, and allegedly final, comedy special “The Closer” on the subject of transgenderism. He has drawn gasps aplenty from many progressives for saying that “Gender is a fact.”

In his special, Chappelle also commented on Caitlyn Jenner being declared “Woman of the Year” by Glamour magazine in 2015.

In the cases of both Jenner and Levine, each is a biological male being heralded as ceiling-breaking women by corporate media, the Democratic Party and the progressive left-wing as a whole, which calls to mind this question:
