‘Term limits’ pops up when Boebert tweets video of Jerry Nadler allegedly ‘sleeping on the job … again’

It would probably be a stretch to describe U.S. Rep. Jerry Nadler, the chair of the House Judiciary Committee, as the life of the party, as it were.

Conservative firebrand Lauren Boebert, the Colorado GOP congresswoman, tweeted out of a short video that zooms in on what appears to be the New York City Democrat dozing off during a committee hearing on Thursday.

“@Jerry Nadler is sleeping on the job…again,” she informed her 185,000 Twitter followers.

The very partisan Nadler, 74, apparently woke up just in time to prevent U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, the ranking member for the Republicans, from showing a three-minute video during the hearing that featured parents at various school board meetings around the country peacefully speaking out against curricula with which they disagree.

That is, grassroots parents who object to the woke, far-left indoctrination agenda.

The committee heard testimony from Attorney General Merrick Garland who previously announced that he wants to deploy the FBI and other law enforcement resources to address the alleged increase in harassment or intimidation, and even threats of violence, against school board members. Parents groups have countered that federal intervention is itself a form of anti-free speech intimidation.

In May 2019, Nadler, a Member of Congress for about 30 years, appeared to pass out during a press conference in Manhattan with Mayor Bill de Blasio.

The Trump-loathing lawmaker, 74, has previously provided social media meme fodder for an inability to put on a face mask and for not being able to kneel (which may be disability-related) along with his colleagues during a tribute to George Floyd.

He was also spotted allegedly falling asleep during Trump impeachment hearings.

In 2002, after a long struggle with obesity, Nadler underwent stomach-reduction surgery as a last resort.

At 5′, 4″, Nadler weighed nearly 340 pounds prior to the surgery. “Mr. Nadler was so obese that he long ago gave up riding the subway in New York to avoid the tiring climb up and down the steps,” the New York Times explained in a report about the surgical procedure. Nadler was also unable to navigate one flight of stairs at the Capitol to vote on the House floor, riding the elevator instead.

Separately, liberals like Nadler, along with their allies in the corporate media, perhaps seem to be rolling out a preemptive and coordinated “stolen-election” narrative if the Democrats lose control of one or both chambers in 2022 midterm voting. This is the same party that insists that raising questions about the Election 2020 outcome is tantamount to sedition.

At today’s hearing for example, Nadler claimed — without evidence that President Trump and his allies “appear to be drafting a plan to overturn the next [election].”

Liberal Twitter is very upset with Rep. Boebert for tweeting out the Nadler video, but others had a different view.:
