Kanye West wears white man mask to meeting with Michael Cohen. Which part of that is strangest?

Rap and hip hop superstar and cultural icon, Kanye West, who now goes strictly by “Ye,” was spotted in a frightening mask Tuesday while having coffee for the second time this month with Donald Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen.

Not to be confused with the average surgical masks many Americans still opt to wear daily, West wore a prosthetic mask of what appeared to be a Caucasian woman that concealed his identity entirely.

Cohen and masked-Ye were joined by 5WPR CEO, Ronn Torossian and Israeli judo champion, Or Sasson on their coffee meeting at Sant Ambroeus Coffee Bar at Loews Regency Hotel.

“We were just getting together. The purpose [of the mask] was so that people would not recognize him … the first 10 minutes we sat down, he was mobbed by people … who wanted photos, and to say hello. So he put on this mask to give him some anonymity, which interestingly enough, did not really work,” Cohen explained to Page Six.

Torossian also noted the anonymity that the jarring mask provided West.

“Kanye was very calm and relaxed with no security. He was wearing the mask most of the time and said he was wearing it so he could walk around freely,” the PR guru told Page Six, “There was no security, he was just wandering the streets with the mask. He was a pleasant guy.”

Cohen and West reportedly met to discuss real estate, according to Torossian.

The duo may have been discussing West’s recent deal with his ex, Kim Kardashian, who bought Ye out of the family home they shared together for seven years in Hidden Hills, California for $20 million.

West officially ‘signed over his rights to the property’ two weeks ago, according to reports from TMZ.

West may need to retire the freaky mask after receiving media attention for donning it both at coffee on Tuesday and in John F. Kennedy International Airport the day before.

The rapper’s masked airport look included smoky eyeshadow and liner. The mask worked so well the first time West wore it, he was reportedly able to take a yellow cab to the city without being recognized.

West wore a similar, rubber full face mask last month in Venice, Italy that some on the Internet compared to an orc from “The Lord of the Rings,” Shrek, French crime fiction character Fantomas, or Michael Myers from the movie “Halloween”.

Kardashian made waves at the Met Gala this year for following West’s trend and wearing an all-black covering over her entire face that rendered her virtually unrecognizable.

Cohen, who is fulfilling the remainder of his three-year prison sentence for tax fraud under house arrest, is allowed to leave his home during set time frames including for two hours on Tuesday mornings.

Candidate for New York City mayor, Eric Adams, was also supposed to have joined the coffee date, but he was held up in meetings and West reportedly had to return to the airport.
