Bondi, Guilfoyle to lead new MAGA super PAC after ‘Trump World’ shows Lewandowski the door

Allies of former President Trump have formed a new super PAC just days after Corey Lewandowski was removed as the head of another one following accusations of sexual misconduct.

The “Make America Great Again, Again!” super PAC will be led by former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. Donald Trump Jr.’s girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, who is a longtime ally of the former President, will be the national finance chair of the PAC. The new group filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission on Friday.

“We look forward to building on the success of MAGA Action with our new committee, Make America Great Again, Again!” Bondi proclaimed. “We are thrilled to continue to support America First candidates in the midterms and beyond.”

The move is seen as a further indication that Trump is planning to run for the presidency in 2024. The super PAC will back Trump-endorsed candidates who “have proven to be fighters of the MAGA movement,” the group declared in a statement.

Former President Trump has endorsed 37 candidates so far for the 2022 midterms, 13 of which are running for Senate seats and 10 more are vying for the House. The rest are running for governorships and executive positions in various states.

Trump has endorsed Harriet Hageman who’s running against Representative Liz Cheney of Wyoming. The former President strongly wants Cheney to be ousted from her seat. He has also offered his support to Kelly Tshibaka who is seeking to unseat Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, another weak Republican counted among the seven senators who voted to convict Trump for inciting the January 6 insurrection during his second impeachment trial.

With slim majorities in the House and Senate, these endorsements could play a key role in an expected future majority flip.

“President Trump’s endorsement is the most powerful and sought-after endorsement in the history of American politics,” Taylor Budowich, the communications director for Trump’s other PAC Save America, told Fox News. “He will continue to identify and support strong candidates who will advocate for his America First agenda in Congress and statehouses across the nation.”

Trump is perceived as a kingmaker in the Republican Party and the 2024 nomination is widely viewed as his for the taking. It appears he is cleaning house and preparing for a run, he just hasn’t announced his candidacy yet.

Trump is further strengthening his position among conservatives and is contending that Democrats have pushed America toward socialism, which he argues must be opposed every inch of the way.

The new super PAC will take the place of the old “Make American Great Again! Action” super PAC. It will be the only one authorized by the former President. The old PAC’s assets will be transferred to the new one according to the group.

Lewandowski, who was accused of sexual misconduct by a former donor, Trashelle Odom, has allegedly been fired and removed from Trump’s inner circle. Odom accused Lewandowski of sexual harassment and inappropriate touching at a dinner in Vegas.

“On the evening of September 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada, I attended a dinner to support a charity and spend time with wonderful friends. He repeatedly touched me inappropriately, said vile and disgusting things to me, stalked me, and made me feel violated and fearful,” she claimed, referring to Lewandowski.

“I am coming forward because he needs to be held accountable. I am blessed to have a loving husband and family behind me. I want other women to know that you can be heard, too, and together we can stop terrible things like this from happening,” Odom asserted.

A spokesperson announced that Lewandowski would be removed as the head of the super PAC and would “no longer be associated with Trump World.”
