‘Stop doing that’: ESPN analyst slams those harassing unvaxed NBA players, Don Lemon missed the memo

The latest front in the media’s war on the vaccine-hesitant has erupted with NBA players who have declined to get “the jab” being showered with torrents of abuse for their desire to be allowed to make their own personal health decisions.

With the new season set to tip-off, a number of high profile players are resisting the pressure to get vaccinated including Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving who has indicated that he may not suit up for the team’s home games in New York City, Andrew Wiggins of the Golden State Warriors whose request for a religious exemption was rejected by the league.

Now that LeBron James who serves as the NBA’s scowling face has come out and said that he himself has been jabbed, the attacks on those who remain steadfast on not being bullied into doing something against their will is intensifying as the media enforces the Biden administration’s authoritarian insistence that all Americans get vaccinated or else.

ESPN’s Jay Williams has had enough and in a viral rant that he tweeted out to his 612.4 k Twitter followers, he called a hard foul on fearmongers in the media who have upped the pressure on the minority of players who have yet to be vaccinated to fall in line.

According to Williams who is fully vaccinated, “Two things that really bother me dammit, and I have to tell you this sh*t because I have to get it off my mind,  I didn’t mean to curse like that but obviously this really bothers me.”

“Number one,” he said, “the media is a problem, the fear-mongering needs to stop. Every damn narrative I read over the past several days, and I use the NBA as a microcosm of the bigger issue is ‘the unvaxxed vs the vaxxed.”

“The minorities voice that shouldn’t be heard, the progressive NBA is not setting the right example,” he said, “what’s going on? Andrew Wiggins, Kyrie Irving, Bradley Beal, the municipalities and cities like Toronto, New York, San Francisco… this is problematic because the real narrative is over 90 percent of the damn NBA is vaccinated.”

He continued, “But what do we do? We double down, we triple down on the unvaxxed and we turn into the unvaxxed versus the vaxxed, don’t do that! Stop doing that!”

“Number two, this really bothers me even more than number one,” he said. “For anybody out there that uses belittling language, to people out there that debase people who are unvaxxed, to people out there that that try to talk down to people that are unvaxxed, you are part of the damn problem!”

Williams added, “Because how you communicate a message to somebody will dictate whether they actually receive your message or not,” a concept that has completely escaped the pro-vax mob.

“So stop talking down to people,” he said. “Stop making this about unvaxxed versus vaxxed, we’re one damn people and obviously we need to move forward collectively together and we need to talk more sense to people instead of talking nonsense to them about making them feel smaller, beneath us because they’re not thinking the way we’re thinking.”

The demonization campaign picked up steam when Rolling Stone published a despicable hit piece that maligned the holdouts, especially Irving, who is accused of  “following and liking Instagram posts from a conspiracy theorist who claims that “secret societies” are implanting vaccines in a plot to connect black people to a master computer for “a plan of Satan.” This Moderna microchip misinformation campaign has spread across multiple NBA locker rooms and group chats, according to several of the dozen-plus current players, Hall-of-Famers, league executives, arena workers and virologists interviewed for this story over the past week.”

Once a cultural icon, the magazine has long strayed from cutting edge investigative journalism and chronicling the lives of the greatest rock stars in history to the same dishonest sleaze that is regularly churned out the mainstream media, hitting rock bottom over a blatantly false story that people who overdosed on Ivermectin which it misleadingly called a “horse dewormer” had overwhelmed emergency rooms in Oklahoma.

CNN’s Don Lemon, a vicious enforcer for vaccine mandates also called out Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green who is refusing to bully his teammates into getting vaxxed.

“This is not about feelings, it’s not about freedom,” declared Lemon, “What kind of freedom do people want when they say they’re not getting vaccinated because they believe in freedom? Do they want the freedom to get sick? Do they want the freedom to be hospitalized or worse?”

“Do they want the freedom to be lying in an overcrowded hospital? Struggling for every breath? Do they want that freedom for the people they love to be infected with a deadly virus? What kind of freedom is that? Don’t do it but then don’t expect to be able to do what everybody else does, the people who are vaccinated,” he said.

It’s all hands on deck to force everyone to bend a knee and roll up their sleeves as the White House and Biden’s stooges in the media command, but there are signs of resistance from the “woke” NBA as well as those who still respect traditional American values and common sense including Jay Williams.
