A fed-up Florida mother is being heralded as a “hero” and “badass” for having unleashed her fury and wrath this week at a group of habitually disrespectful, obnoxious Palm Beach County School Board members.

During a school board meeting Wednesday evening, the unnamed mother who’d been granted time to speak noticed, much to her dismay, that the board members weren’t paying attention. This, sadly, isn’t a new phenomenon.

What is new is the woman’s forceful response.

Watch:

Instead of launching into her speech, the woman remained dead silent, prompting board chair Frank A. Barbieri to bark at her to “start speaking.”

She quickly replied, “I’d like the board’s attention please.”

Some board member then muttered, “We’re all here.”

Having confirmed that the board members were finally paying attention, the woman politely asked the board to restart her time.

“No,” Barbieri replied each time she asked.

“Yes! Please restart my time!” the woman promptly responded.

Barbieri then suddenly switched subjects and admonished the woman for not wearing her mask properly. It had fallen and was only covering her mouth instead of her nose.

“I’ll pull my mask up if you restart my time,” the woman replied.

But once again Barbieri said no, spurring the crowd of onlookers to gasp in disbelief and the woman to ask, “Are you serious!?”

“I’m serious. I called you to the microphone, said to start speaking,” Barbieri replied.

That’s when the woman dropped a hammer.

“Your board’s not paying attention! There’s a difference between listening and actually paying attention!” she exclaimed.

The room then burst into loud applause.

Only then did the woman begin her speech.

She wasn’t the only hero to take a stand that evening. Watch the full hearing below:

The eventful evening temporarily capped what has been weeks of heated back-and-forth exchanges between the Palm Beach County School Board and the local parents whom the board clearly disdains.

It came only days after one of the most obnoxious members of the board, mask zealot Alexandra Ayala, was spotted partying maskless at a posh local gala at The Breakers hotel.

The woman who spoke Wednesday made sure to make note of this.

“The bullying, intimidation and retaliation that’s trickling down from this board regarding masks is a disgrace. The way that the parents are treated at this meeting is the reason the principals, the teachers feel they can do to the same to our children and get away with it,” she said.

“We all see through the rules for thee and not for me nonsense regarding masks. We know they don’t work, which is why you don’t wear them at events. Isn’t that right, Ayala?” she added.

According to former BizPacReview CEO Jack Furnari, a Palm Beach local, Ayala “is a clueless mid-twenties ‘progressive’ who sounds like a Marxist and acts like a neo-racist.”

Wednesday’s eventful hearing likewise happened only a few short weeks after Barbieri went “full fascist” and had a local parent forcefully removed from a hearing for the apparent crime of refusing to take a seat.

“School police have advised me that people in the unmasked room are standing and refusing to sit. I’m giving you one last chance, sit down in your seats, because those people standing will be removed from the meeting. Sit down in your seats!” he commanded at the time.

“Officers you can take anybody out of the meeting that’s refusing to sit in the seats, take them out of the meeting. Officers… The lady in the white and black top, remove her from the meeting, please. The man in the blue shirt, remove him from the meeting. The man in the black shirt, remove him from the meeting,” he continued.

This tyrannical behavior is now part and parcel not only of the Palm Beach County School Board but of a myriad of school boards throughout the nation all hellbent on forcing highly controversial COVID diktats on the communities they serve.

The irony in Palm Beach specifically is that while ordering parents and students to abide by their rules, the board has been simultaneously refusing to abide by the orders of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a man who greatly outranks them.

DeSantis has ruled that school districts may not force mask mandates on communities, but apparently, the rules just don’t matter to the likes of Barbieri, Ayala and the rest of their unmasked, “rules for thee, but not for me” cohorts.
