Nicki Minaj fans show up outside CDC HQ in protest: ‘Fauci lied to me!’

Wildly popular rapper Nicki Minaj’s tweets questioning COVID vaccinations sparked a protest by fans outside the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia on Wednesday.

One protester proclaimed that “We should all question this vaccine.”

All of the demonstrators wore masks and medical gloves and were chanting, “Nicki Minaj told me the truth! Fauci lied to me!” according to WGCL-TV. They also shouted, “Down with the CDC!”

“We are here because the CDC has been lying to us for so long,” one of Minaj’s fans proclaimed.

Minaj set social media on fire earlier this week by questioning COVID vaccinations. She said she hadn’t taken the jab yet and was still researching it. She also claimed in a tweet that her cousin’s friend in Trinidad had side effects after getting vaccinated that included impotence and swollen testicles. Minaj is referring to the blowup as “Ballgate.”

“His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied,” Minaj said in her original tweet.

The singer was viciously attacked by the media and those on the left for questioning vaccinations. Critics accused her of spreading misinformation and lying. The White House reportedly invited her and then claimed they only offered her a call as well.

The rapper publicly smacked MSNBC’s Joy Reid for attacking her. Minaj tweeted that Reid was spreading “a false narrative about a black woman” and called her “a lying homophobic c**n.”

She further enraged the left when she signaled agreement with Fox News host Tucker Carlson over his assessment of the situation.

Carlson noted, “It’s not anything to do with the physical effect of the vaccine that makes our political class mad – it’s the last part of Nicki Minaj’s tweet that enraged them. The part where she says you should pray on it, make the decision yourself like a free human being, and quote ‘don’t be bullied.'”

When Minaj was attacked for supporting what Carlson said, she shot back, “Right. I can’t speak to, agree with, even look at someone from a particular political party. Ppl aren’t human any more. If you’re black & a Democrat tells u to shove marbles up ur ass, you simply have to. If another party tells u to look out for that bus, stand there & get hit.”

“You know how many US Presidents were white supremacists? Oh please. Just stay on topic. Y’all can’t do that. The topic is: asking questions is OK. but let’s make the topic: Nicki talks to white racists so that you can all sleep better tonight. Dummies,” she tweeted.

Dr. Fauci also attacked the pop artist, claiming her assertions were baseless.

“There’s no evidence that it happens, nor is there any mechanistic reason to imagine that it would happen,” Fauci stated on CNN. “There’s a lot of misinformation, mostly on social media, and the only way we know to counter mis- and disinformation is to provide a lot of correct information and to essentially debunk these kinds of claims, which may be innocent on her part. I’m not blaming her for anything but she should be thinking twice about propagating information that really has no basis.”

The protesters were reportedly part of a fringe political group called the Black Hammer according to Insider. The group is a self-described “anti-colonial organization that exists to take the land back for all Colonised people.”

Black Hammer claimed they organized the protest on their Twitter feed, rallying their followers to gather outside the CDC as they were “fed up with the way the media is portraying Nicki Minaj.” They plan to protest again on Saturday.

Black Hammer has a history of being anti-vaccination. An article posted on their website in December claimed that “vaccines do not promise anything that will keep you safe from COVID-19” and that “many have experienced severe allergies and death” after receiving the Pfizer vaccine.
