‘Karen’ rages at ‘obscene’ hula hoop champion for flashing sports bra in park where kids play

World hula hoop record holder Getti Kehayova, 43, unintentionally triggered an unhinged Karen in a park in Las Vegas when she hung upside down from some monkey bars and her top drooped showing the bottom of her white sports bra.

Kehayova shared her disturbing experience on TikTok. The video shows an angry unnamed mother verbally laying into Kehayova for wearing “obscene” clothing and being “half-naked” because her stomach was showing in the park where children were playing.

“Everybody around here is seeing this! You’re half-naked right there,” the woman screamed. “This is a place where kids play.”

“This is a place for family. You can’t be half-naked up there,” she railed. She then addressed Kehayova’s husband, Michael, asking: “Are you okay with this?”

Kehayova holds the Guinness World Record for the largest hula hoop spun. She was in the park practicing when the incident occurred. Someone in the park caught the whole thing on video and she shared it via TikTok where it went viral.

The “Karen” was pushing her child in a stroller when she took time out to harangue the champion.

Kehayova warned the woman to stand back and lay off while she was hula hooping, stating, “Watch yourself. I’m trying to film.” The woman refused to budge.

Ignoring the unhinged attacker didn’t work either.

The woman carped about everybody being on “the TikTok” when she saw Kehayova’s son videoing her.

“This is where kids play, this is a place for families. That is so obscene,” she scolded. “I can’t believe you’re doing this in our neighborhood park with almost no clothing. That is totally revealing.”

Kehayova’s husband strategically placed himself between the disturbed woman and his wife while he tried to calm her down. The woman then claimed that the couple was going to “wake up” her baby which is odd considering she was the only one yelling.

Eventually, the woman grabbed Kehayova’s hula hoop and threw it to the ground. At that point, she got off the monkey bars and came to earth to confront the shrew.

The man who was videoing Kehayova during her practice tried to intervene and got yelled at for it, telling him it was none of his business.

Then the unstable woman turned on Kehayova’s son yelling at him to get away from her baby even though he was not doing a thing to the child. When his parents yelled at her to leave him alone, she screamed at them, “You people are off the charts.”

The exchange continued with Kehayova explaining she was working out and the woman demanding to know why she was wearing “revealing clothing.”

“You’re wearing revealing clothing yourself,” Kehayova shot back at the woman.

She then grabbed Kehayova’s hula hoop from her, snarling, “Let me show you what you can do for a TikTok,” as she threw it into a post.

“Find somewhere else to bare your belly,” she viciously added.

At that point, Kehayova and her husband and son decided it was time to leave.

The video was posted on August 29 and the athlete said she is “still shaken” by the attack. It has been viewed more than 2.4 million times.

The comments in response to the video were telling according to the Daily Mail.

“Has she never been to a public swimming pool?!” one person remarked.

“I could never imagine thinking someone’s stomach is more harmful to a child than her behavior and language,” another commented.

Others didn’t believe the video was real but given that it took place in Las Vegas, it’s a good bet it is.
