Biden heads to Cali, accused of working harder to save Gavin Newsom’s skin than US hostages

With the recall vote for California Governor Gavin Newsom now less than a week away, Democrats are frantically working to save his hide and even President Joe Biden will be pitching in as voters go to the polls to render their verdict on his political career.

In news confirming what many have speculated, Biden will emerge to hit the campaign trail for the embattled governor who faces a serious threat that could derail the dreams of the ambitious product of the corrupt San Francisco Democrat machine.

On Tuesday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said that Biden would travel to the left coast “early next week” where he will join efforts to energize the party faithful and to prevent a nightmare scenario for Democrats if the recall is successful.

An increasingly panicky Newsom is warning that a defeat for him will also be a crushing blow to the extreme leftist agenda that the alleged “moderate” Biden has championed since he took office and could also bring an end to Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s iron-fisted rule in Congress.

Newsom’s desperation is palpable but bringing in Biden is fraught with risk as public sentiment is rapidly souring on the nation’s 46th president who may be headed into a downward spiral after his miserable failure in Afghanistan and the abandonment of American citizens who are now effectively being held hostage by the radical Islamic Taliban.

Last week, Newsom said that he was “incredibly proud” of Biden’s handling of the nation’s worst foreign policy debacle in decades, one that will have lasting consequences.

The news of Biden’s coming out of the bullpen to save the day for the embattled Newsom drew a harsh response on Twitter.

Others seem to see the writing on the wall and are urging Newsom to replace octogenarian Senator Dianne Feinstein while he still can.

Top Democrats already have boots on the ground in advance of what is expected to be a cliffhanger with pro-Trump conservative Larry Elder potentially making history by becoming the state’s first black leader, putting a Republican in the governor’s mansion for the first time since Arnold Schwarzenegger who, ironically, got the job as a result of a recall election.

Vice President Kamala Harris is stumping for Newsom in the Bay Area as are failed presidential candidates Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar along with the usual array of liberal Hollywood luminaries who won’t be satisfied until their moral degeneracy has been imposed on all Americans.

It’s quite a turn of events for Newsom who last year was the golden boy of COVID along with fellow Democrat Andrew Cuomo, but sometimes life comes at you hard and fast.
