Biden admin considers sending aid to Taliban if they ‘uphold their international obligations’

The Biden administration isn’t content with merely handing over control of Afghanistan to the Taliban, they are now considering sending direct aid and assistance to the radical Islamic regime even as it is in the process of hunting down and eliminating translators who helped America.

With the evacuation from Kabul now completed, albeit with Americans having been abandoned in hostile territory, Biden’s foreign policy whiz kids were already busily planning the nation’s continuing role in the war-torn country that, thanks to them, has once again become a breeding ground for terrorists.

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan discussed the idea of propping up the Taliban during an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos where he said that the money will flow as long as they “uphold their international obligations.”

“It’s going to be up to them,” the former policy adviser for Hillary Clinton’s doomed presidential campaign and high school debate champion said, “and we will wait and see, by their actions, how we end up responding.”

What is clearly lost on Sullivan and other Beltway geniuses is that terrorists usually don’t live up to their end of any bargain and no sooner had the last troops been flown out of Hamid Karzai International Airport, than the marauding savages celebrated by firing their weapons into the air.

Now there are reports that Taliban fighters are conducting house-to-house searches for translators and others who collaborated with western forces during the two-decade occupation despite hollow promises of amnesty that have already apparently been broken.

In a harrowing account of what could be a bloody new period in Afghanistan’s history, a man identified as Kaleem, who worked with the British for five years told the Daily Mail that one of the hunting parties was being led by a former imam who is now a Taliban commander.

The 35-year-old said, “The mullah knew me from the mosque. Everyone knew that he was Taliban and he had been arrested by the Afghan government. But when all the prisoners were released, he was among them and he is leading the hunt for those who were the eyes of Western forces.”

Kaleem continued: “He knocked on the door. He was with bodyguards carrying AK-47s asking where I was but my family said I was not in. They were very scared.”

“They thought they would be taken away. I was in hiding and did not move. We thought they would search the house, but they didn’t and warned they would return. We are all terrified they will find me or punish the family if they don’t. I will die if they find me,” he added.

“No one believes the Taliban’s words of forgiveness. We helped the British kill and capture their men,” Kaleem said. “We provided the intelligence to fight against them. We questioned their captured and injured – so it is simple that they will want revenge.”

Kaleem was one of those who could have been spared from the wrath of the Taliban but was unable to safely get to the evacuation zone due to the chaos in Kabul. Now he and countless others face a terrifying and uncertain fate due to the fecklessness and incompetence of Biden and his dream team.

Greatly assisting the Taliban with their search and destroy mission will be the billions of dollars in weaponry and sophisticated gear that was essentially gifted to them by Biden and the leaders of the “woke” Pentagon, equipment that reportedly includes high-tech biometric scanners that could “aid in the identification of Afghans who assisted coalition forces,” according to a report by The Intercept.

Biden’s handoff of Afghanistan to the terrorists and the subsequent failure to protect allies sends a message to the rest of the world and it isn’t that America is back.
