Ann Coulter gushes over Biden, praises Afghanistan withdrawal: He ‘had the balls to do it,’ unlike Trump

President Joe Biden received some love over his disastrous handling of Afghanistan from an unusual source when conservative pundit Ann Coulter sang his praises in a tweet that will be used by liberals to revise history in order to portray the withdrawal as a victory.

Coulter’s tweet was really a swipe at former President Donald J. Trump, a man whom she once avidly supported but gradually soured on after he didn’t live up to her expectations, skewering him in tweets as well as during appearances on liberal media outlets which leaped at the chance to invite her with the hope that she would criticize the nation’s 45th president.

“Thank you, President Biden, for keeping a promise Trump made, but then abandoned when he got to office,” she tweeted after Biden’s Tuesday speech to the nation where he defended himself and his administration’s handling of a foreign policy cataclysm that will reverberate for decades.

Coulter followed up her big, wet, sloppy kiss to Biden with another shot at the ex-POTUS.

“Trump REPEATEDLY demanded that we bring our soldiers home, but only President Biden had the balls to do it,” she wrote, including a screenshot of ” a few of Trump’s wuss, B.S. – I mean ‘masterful’ – tweets,” that she used to make her case.

Some begged to differ with Coulter.

However, Coulter’s assertion doesn’t match reality with Trump repeatedly expressing the desire to extract America from the longest war in the nation’s history and, unlike his predecessors, he didn’t start any new wars during his time in the White House.

She also neglected to mention that Trump’s effort to get out of Afghanistan last summer was torpedoed by a New York Times story citing unnamed “American intelligence officials” who claimed that the Russians were offering bounties to militants to kill coalition forces, including U.S. troops.

The story was eventually revealed to be untrue but the damage had already been done with Trump’s drawdown of troops being prevented by pro-war Republicans led by malicious actor Liz Cheney. Biden was also able to use the story against Trump which he did, accusing him of “dereliction of duty” as he made his case to be the man who would eventually surrender Afghanistan to the Taliban.

Other than matters involving Trump, Coulter has remained steadfast in her conservative views making it evident that she harbors some sort of spiteful grudge against him.

Unfortunately, that grudge blinds her to the fact that she is only providing cover to Biden and the spinmeisters who are diligently working to gaslight Americans into believing that the humiliating loss in Afghanistan was actually a victory and that the befuddled commander in chief is a modern-day titan.
