Alleged hot mic footage of Pelosi saying ‘we don’t want’ Biden to talk draws scrutiny

Actor James Woods tweeted out a clip of President Biden as he was cut off during a virtual feed in March by Nancy Pelosi as she allegedly asserted on a hot mic, “No, we don’t want him to talk.”

“And I’m happy to take questions if that’s what I’m supposed to do Nance. Whatever you want me to do,” Biden said in the clip while addressing the House Democrats 2021 Issues Conference. This part actually happened and was verified at the time.

In the clip Woods shared, Pelosi allegedly stated unknowingly while on a hot mic, “Am I on? No, we don’t want him to talk.” At that point, Biden was supposedly cut off from speaking. This was ironically after the president urged Democrats to help “restore faith” in government.

The newly surfaced video clip is suspect for a number of reasons including the cadence of Pelosi’s speech at the end. It also lacks credibility because it took so long to appear. The original incident occurred in March.

It’s possible that the clip was spliced together to make Biden and Pelosi look even worse but you can’t tell for sure.

The footage serves to highlight the fact that Biden has repeatedly stated that he’s being told who to call on and what to say. He’s also losing his temper with reporters and rudely turning his back and walking away when asked questions he doesn’t like.

For instance, at a press briefing on Hurricane Ida, Biden said he wasn’t supposed to take questions but took one anyway. “I’m not supposed to take any questions, but go ahead,” he told White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs.

She started to ask him, “Mr. President, on Afghanistan…”

Biden stopped her in mid-question, “I’m not gonna answer on Afghanistan.”

He then angrily banged his hand on the podium and turned his back on her.

Biden’s gaffes when he speaks are legendary. It has become obvious to many Americans that the reason the president does not take more questions is he tends to lose his train of thought, ramble, go totally off-subject, or get angry. Almost daily, videos come out depicting Biden in a bad light and it’s only getting worse as time goes on.

The alleged video segment of Biden and Pelosi went viral at a time when President Biden’s popularity is cratering almost by the hour over his botched Afghanistan withdrawal that has left 13 U.S. service members and about 180 Afghans dead in Kabul. On top of that, one of his drone strikes has reportedly killed children in the process of targeting ISIS-K suicide bombers.

The president’s approval ratings are now at 41 percent and still dropping, according to a USA Today-Suffolk University survey. In May, his approval rating was 57 percent. The precipitous drop is reportedly due to the Afghanistan debacle, the pandemic, and the economy.

Many believe that Biden’s plummeting ratings and the loss of support by the American people could spell disaster for the Democrats in 2022. It’s very possible they could lose control of the House and the Senate during the midterm elections if things keep trending like this for Biden.

People loved the clip whether it is real or not and many said they believed in its authenticity:
