Alyssa Milano’s proud of the ‘incredible job’ Biden is doing, but gets smacked in the face with reality

President Joe Biden’s celebrity apologists are twisting themselves into pretzels as they set new standards for sycophancy, standing by their man by distorting reality over the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Leading the charge is Twitter diva Alyssa Milano, who may have benefitted more than anybody from the election of former President Donald J. Trump by cashing in on the booming market of liberal resentment after the “unbeatable” Hillary Clinton inexplicably snubbed critical white working-class voters in the Rust Belt, leading to her humiliating defeat by the bombastic billionaire outsider.

Tapping into the negative energy of the so-called resistance, the aging actress turned to anti-Trump activism and shilling for a Democratic Party that champions the degenerate “values” of far-left Hollywood and managed to make herself relevant as the sun was setting on her primary career.

Milano has been a continuous source of liberal lunacy but she may have outdone herself with her latest tweet praising the bumbling commander in chief as “the right person for the job at this moment in history.”

She also wrote that she is proud of the “incredible job” that Biden is doing and added the hashtag #IStandWithBiden.

Of course, Milano’s mindless white-knighting for Biden bears no resemblance to the reality on the ground in Afghanistan where Biden and his foreign policy dream team have catastrophically bungled the withdrawal from the nation’s longest war.

They not only badly underestimated the resolve of the Taliban whose “shock and awe” campaign to overtake the country caught the White House completely off guard, but also the inability to secure the airport evacuation zone which resulted in the flag-draped caskets of 13 U.S. military members being offloaded on Sunday at Dover Air Force Base.

Not to mention the Biden regime’s surrender of advanced military weapons and gear to the radical Islamic militants, a haul that included sophisticated Blackhawk helicopters, weaponry that will almost certainly find its way into the hands of terrorists who could use it to kill Americans, possibly even on the U.S. homeland.

The reaction was entirely predictable as the former star of the 1980s sitcom “Who’s The Boss” was mercilessly dragged on the popular social media platform.

Here’s a sampling of some of those responses from Twitter:

In addition to “Who’s The Boss?” the 48-year-old Milano’s pre-Trump resume includes over two dozen mostly forgettable films along with over three decades of television including a starring role in the popular series “Charmed” in which she was appropriately cast as a witch.

Earlier this year, she mused about running for Congress and would be a perfect addition to a surreal Democrat House menagerie were she to choose to do so.

Hollywood went heavy for Biden last year and has carried water for him ever since, but even those who make a living in an industry that traffics in fantasy may be hard-pressed to bail him out after the greatest foreign policy disaster in decades and quite possibly, in the history of the United States.

Milano’s sentiment is likely echoed by the Taliban who also believe that Biden is the right man for the job at the right moment in history.
