**Editor’s note: This post has been updated to confirm the teacher was placed on administrative leave and no longer works for the Alpine School District. BPR could not confirm that the teacher was fired as previously reported.
As the song says, “Teach your children well…”
Yes. Do that by taking them out of classrooms ruled by sociopaths.
Though cell phones are rarely used for phone conversations anymore – the actual telephone function on a cellular device is now just a dormant app on your hi-def camera, and if you use it, everyone is irritated – they are good for exposing people at their worst, or their normal. (If they happen to be at their best, no one cares).
One teacher is paying the price for her seemingly drunken classroom tirade, though that might be giving the goblin too much credit. She’s no doubt sincere. After a student-recorded cellphone video emerged, chemistry teacher Leah Kinyon (not wearing a mask for any lefties who might be keeping score) was summarily placed on administrative leave after Lehi High School deemed she had gone a bit too far with her political rantings.
In the video, the teacher raved about her love for the various acronym identity groups, her intolerance for any who’d demur against her way of thinking, and in doing so, unwittingly made a strong case for the abolition of teachers’ unions.
A particularly eloquent portion:
“Most of y’all parents are dumber than y’all, I’m going to say that out loud,” she declared, making good on her threat to say it out loud and all, and added to that how much she hates former President Donald Trump and people who won’t get vaccinated.
“I hate Donald Trump. I’m gonna say it. I don’t care what y’all think. Trump sucks.”
She may not care what her students think, but she probably cares now what they record, and if she ever lands another teaching gig, it’s doubtful she’ll be allowing any cell phones in the classroom.
The Alpine School District released a statement about the video Tuesday evening:
“We became aware late this afternoon of an incident that took place today in one of our high school classrooms. An immediate investigation ensued,” the school district said in a statement, KSL-TV reported. ”The employee has been put on administrative leave pending a thorough investigation. This behavior is inappropriate, not reflective of the professional conduct and decorum we expect of our teachers, and will not be tolerated.”
In the video, which KSL-TV reports “was posted on rumble.com by Eric Moustos, a former Salt Lake City police officer,” the teacher identified by Fox 13 told students: “You don’t have to do everything your parents say and you don’t have to believe everything your parents believe.”
She also threatened to open a “can of whoop-ass” on students and “make their lives a living hell” if they did not fall in line with her beliefs. And in exhibiting what must be the height of maturity in her twisted mind, she warned the students she would make fun of them if they expressed views she disagreed with.
“If you don’t believe in climate change, get the hell out” and “if you’re a homophobe, get out, ” the misanthrope informed the class.
“This is my classroom and if you guys are going to put me at risk, you’re going to hear about it. Because I have to be here, I don’t have to be happy about the fact that there’s kids coming in here with their variants that could possibly get me or my family sick, that’s rude,” she declared.
Rude, eh? And yes, nice lady, you don’t have to be there. So says the Alpine School District.
“Alpine School District has concluded our investigation of the incident that occured (sic) on August 17, 2021 at Lehi High School. Although the details of a personnel investigation are confidential, the teacher involved is no longer an employee of Alpine School District,” the district said in a statement.
No longer able to infect children – for now – with what is a far deadlier variant than Delta, Omega, Upsilon or otherwise: The logic-resistant virus of Leftism.
