Tucker rips left over Census celebration: ‘Fewer white people in America is a great thing’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson reamed liberal media figures who he says were “cheering the extinction of white people” following the release of the country’s demographic breakdown by the U.S. Census Bureau earlier this week.

Carlson began a segment during his Friday evening program by noting that earlier this year he took heat from left-wing media types and others for suggesting that the Biden administration and the Democratic Party generally supported mass immigration — illegal or otherwise — as a means of “replacing” mostly white Republican voters so they could affect a permanent electoral majority among the whole of the U.S. population.

But, he continued, he is merely “pointing out the obvious” by noting that “Democrats are intentionally accelerating demographic change in this country for political advantage.”

“Rather than convince people to vote for them — that’s called democracy — they’re counting on brand-new voters,” the host continued, adding, “That’s what we said on the show.”

He went on to say that following his comments, leftist commentators and hosts on competitor media outlets and networks “became completely hysterical” and accused him of “espousing something called ‘the great replacement theory,’ a well-known racist fantasy.”

“Right. In other words, ‘shut up,'” Carlson noted.

The host then reviewed the 2020 Census Bureau data, which shows that the number of whites declined for the first time in the country’s history, by about 5 million people, which he said is a “huge” development.

Noting that expert demographers were “shocked” by the findings as well, Carlson wondered aloud where the decline came from and why.

“As leading Democrats put it again and again, ‘Who cares?'” Carlson continued. “Fewer white people in America is a great thing and we should celebrate.”

Carlson then played a clip of a CNN segment featuring host Don Lemon and contributors Ana Navarro and Bakari Sellers from this week discussing the Census figures.

“Guess who’s got Stephen Miller’s old office. Her name is Susan Rice. And she’s one of us,” Navarro said. “And guess who is in Ivanka Trump’s old office? Julie Rodriguez, she is César Chavez’s granddaughter.”

“Did you hear that? Her name is Susan Rice, she’s one of us,” Carlson responded. “Meaning she’s a Democrat? No, it means she’s not white. ‘Us’ is the non-white people cheering the extinction of white people. That was on television. Think about that for a minute. It’s hard to think about it because it’s that evil.”

Carlson then returned to a familiar theme — that talking up the country’s racial divisions as happens quite often on networks like CNN and MSNBC is extremely harmful in a multi-ethnic, multi-racial country like the United States and only stokes permanent division and “violence.”

“These people are completely out of control. They are dangerous,” he intoned, before playing a clip of Washington, D.C.’s long-serving, non-voting congressional delegate Eleanor Holmes-Norton talking about how increasing the number of minorities in the country will give Democrats the “leverage” they need to retain power.

“Democrats win when we have fewer white people in the country,” said the host, summarizing Holmes-Norton. “You should never say anything like that out loud.”

To wrap up his comments, Carlson mentioned a tweet from Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin, who commented on the Census figures: “[A] more diverse, more inclusive society. [T]his is fabulous news. [N]ow we need to prevent minority White rule.”

Carlson said those comments were akin to South African apartheid and were unequivocally dangerous, before circling back to his original question about what happened to the millions of whites that led to a decline in the overall white population.

He said “hundreds of thousands” of mostly rural whites have died from drug overdoses thanks to the proliferation of opioids.

“A columnist from the Washington Post is cheering that,” he said.
