The Chinese propaganda machine appears to be hard at work as China’s “bat woman” who heads up the Wuhan lab took to state-run media this week with a dire COVID warning.

Virologist Shi Zhengli, director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, called on people to get vaccinated according to a report by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) and warned that “new variants will continue to emerge.”

“As the number of infected cases has just become too big, this allowed the novel coronavirus more opportunities to mutate and select,” Shi explained to the Health Times which operates under the state-run People’s Daily, SCMP said.

The virus has reportedly mutated several times already after first emerging from Wuhan as early as late 2019. Last month, the CDC claimed the delta variant was responsible for 83 percent of new infections in the United States.

While Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky had previously indicated that the delta variant is “predicted to be the second most prevalent variant in the United States” and that all current vaccines provide protection against the delta variant,  she later flip-flopped when the CDC issued new mask guidance, even for the vaccinated, because “in rare occasions, some vaccinated people infected with the delta variant after vaccination may be contagious and pass the virus to others.”

It appears many are using the delta variant as an opportunity to fearmonger people into getting the vaccine.

Michael Osterholm, the leading epidemiologist at the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, likened the possibility of new variants to a cataclysmic doomsday event when he indicated that there is a potential for “Delta on steroids” to emerge.

Earlier this week, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the country’s lead immunologist warned that “things are going to get worse again,” as if he has a crystal ball showing the future.

However, it seems that although many on the left are arguing this should trigger more restrictions on liberty, Kentucky Senator Dr. Rand Paul tweeted last month, “Don’t let the fearmongers win. New public England study of delta variant shows 44 deaths out of 53,822 (.08%) in unvaccinated group. Hmmm.”

Although Shi and the Chinese propagandists have denied that the Wuhan lab where Shi works was the source of the pandemic, the lab leak theory has gained traction over the past year and a half with damming evidence slowly bubbling to the surface. Recently, more information came to light that seems to indicate Fauci’s deep involvement in the controversial gain of function research that appears to be happening at the Wuhan lab.
