A prominent conservative commentator triggered the wrath and scolding of pandemic control freaks by simply pointing out an obvious truth about face masks on Twitter. But instead of just taking it, she fought back like a champ.

It all started Thursday when Bethany S. Mandel posted a tweet pondering the left’s inability to realize the problem with forcing young children to wear masks.

“Related: How strange it is that progressives see scaring their children into wearing dirty, bacteria-filled cloth on their faces for 8-9 hours a day without complaint as evidence of their amazing parenting,” she wrote.

In response, a left-wing smart-aleck tweeted to Mandel that he and his spouse “frequently wash” their kids’ masks, and so their kids “don’t wear the same mask every day, lol.”

Just to clarify, Mandel never mentioned children wearing the same mask day in and day out. She specifically tweeted about children wearing a single mask for eight to nine hours, i.e., during their time at school or even day care.

To better convey this point to the smart-aleck who seemingly wasn’t intelligent enough to grasp it, she then posted photographic proof.

This single tweet quickly blew up, with virtually every highfalutin, high-profile leftist — meaning “journalists,” “celebrities,” professors, socialists, etc. — all joining together to pan her.

A stunning number of these elitists didn’t even take the time to read the full thread. Instead, they just assumed the picture was of her mask and then acted as if she’d been wearing it as a diaper on her butt instead of as a face mask.

Look:

Remember, these are the type of elitists who act as if they hate Middle America and are better than everybody, especially everybody with a dissenting opinion.

Others meanwhile accused Mandel of  being a “bad parent,” threatened to call Child Protective Services on her, and wrote that the picture was “gross.”

Some of these same people think it’s perfectly OK for young boys to dance at gay bars as a crowd of gay men throws dollar bills at them as if they’re a stripper.

Mandel, a Jewish woman who knows how to deal with hate, didn’t take the backlash lying down. Instead, she went to war by blasting her critics one by one.

When they assumed the mask was hers, she explained that it was a six-year-old’s.

When they accused her of lying, she accused them of behaving like children.

When they accused her of being gross, she asked them why they’re denying reality.

When they acted like they know better, she asked them whether they have any children.

When they threatened to call CPS on her, she mocked them.

No matter what they threw at her, she hit the ball back every single time — scoring home run after home run after home run.

She was used to this; it comes with the territory of being a Jewish conservative. After all, it was only a year ago that a CNN analyst called her a “grandma killer.”

Regardless, despite her name trending on Twitter and every leftist attacking her, she loved every moment of it and was begging for more by day’s end.

Look:

What she was basically saying in the tweet above was “BRING IT.”
