Congressional Democrats have long claimed to be loving, kind, tolerant, understanding, decent people, yet their recent behavior has inspired doubt in the minds of many.
Case in point: When a National Republican Congressional Committee staffer simply posed a question on Friday to one such Democrat, Florida Rep. Stephanie Murphy, said Democrat responded by — it would appear — flipping the bird.
The question was certainly nothing derogatory or inappropriate.
“Congresswoman Murphy, quick question: Do you think Nancy Pelosi should be arrested for breaking her own mask mandate?” the staffer asked.
Yet this is how the Democrat congresswoman responded:
She acted as if she was scratching her head, yet she chose to use her middle finger to perform the conspicuously quick scratch.
The assumption by Republicans has been that she’d flipped the bird to the staffer. With this in mind, the video above has provoked backlash, starting from the NRCC.
“House Democrats can’t handle being held accountable for their radical actions so they’re resorting to making obscene gestures at young female staffers,” NRCC communications director Michael McAdams said to Fox News.
On Twitter meanwhile, one of the men pining to replace the 3-year House representative, Florida state Rep. Anthony Sabatini, slammed her as “total trash” and demanded “her immediate resignation NOW!”

BREAKING: My far-left opponent @SMurphyCongress has embarrassed Florida once AGAIN—this time for giving the bird to a person who asked her a simple question. This Congresswoman is total trash!

In a statement to Breitbart News, the Republican lawmaker added that she’s “not fit for office and probably not mentally stable.”
Cory Mills, a decorated U.S. Army combat veteran aspiring to take Murphy’s seat, also took a social media shot at the congresswoman, describing her actions as childish and unprofessional.

Murphy is the second Democrat to act “unhinged” over simply being asked a question.
Connecticut Rep. Jahana Hayes published videos to Twitter on Thursday accusing several people — who appeared to either be journalists or NRCC staffers/reporters — of being “political trackers” up to no good.
While their identities remain unclear, all they did was ask her questions like a journalist or even a member of the paparazzi might. The only difference vis-a-vis the paparazzi is that, unlike Hollywood celebrities, members of Congress work for the public.
Watch her videos below:
Q: Do you know what a political tracker is?
A: It’s someone employed by an opposing political party to follow someone, documenting their every move, in hopes of capturing a slipup.

Notice how she automatically assumed they weren’t journalists. To left-wing Democrats, only so-called “reporters” who work within the establishment media count as real journalists. And even with that there may be some stipulations. For instance, most Democrats likely don’t consider Fox News’ reporters to be journalists.
Moreover, Democrats absolutely don’t consider the folks at Project Veritas — a paragon of independent investigative journalism — real journalists.
Dovetailing back to Hayes’ videos, one of the people asking questions could be heard saying, “We’re just trying to hold you accountable, congresswoman.”
Indeed, and isn’t that the very purpose of journalism? It technically is, but because the establishment media is so biased toward the Democrats, true accountability is rarely seen. And in those rare instances where it’s actually practiced, Democrats usually lash out in unseemly ways.
Whether it was the time House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tore into Sinclair’s James Rosen for daring to ask her a tough question:

Or the time President Joe Biden snapped at a CNN reporter of all people for asking just a semi-tough question:

This behavior doesn’t seem very conducive to being loving, kind, tolerant and understanding. Granted, former President Donald Trump often acted like this way as well, though unlike Democrats, he never pretended to be a saint …
