The highly credentialed, 44-year-old Government Accountability Project nonprofit filed a stunning whistleblower document this week accusing a Biden administration detention facility for illegal alien children of covering up a coronavirus outbreak.

The document cites testimony from “career federal civil servants” Arthur Pearlstein of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and Lauren Reinhold of the Social Security Administration.

It states that during their respective time volunteering at the Fort Bliss detention center in Texas between April and June of this year, they saw that “hundreds of children contracted COVID in the overcrowded conditions” because of a lack of proper protocol.

“Adequate masks were not consistently provided to children, nor was their use consistently enforced,” it reads.

Worse, a purposeful “effort” was allegedly made by a senior Biden administration official to “downplay” the outbreak and keep everything “under wraps.”

View the chilling document below:

When asked to specify how many children were infected, an unnamed senior U.S. Public Health Service manager allegedly refused to reply for political reasons.

The official allegedly said if the data “is going to The Washington Post every day, it’s the only thing we’ll be dealing with, and politics will take over, perception will take over, and we’re about reality, not perception.”

“All the manager would acknowledge is that several children had to be hospitalized,” according to the document.

The unnamed senior Biden administration official also allegedly “dismissed a detailee’s concern that the children in the COVID tents were wearing basic disposable masks instead of N95 masks,” claiming that quality masks weren’t necessary for infected patients to wear.

These stunning allegations come as President Joe Biden, congressional Democrats and their media allies continue to blame Republicans for the uptick in coronavirus cases and hospitalizations across the country.

In reality, the data reportedly shows that large numbers of people in Democrat cities like Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Detroit and New York City also remain unvaccinated.

Plus, it is a confirmed fact that coronavirus-positive illegals are being funneled by the Biden administration into American communities like the Texas border town of La Joya.

“The La Joya Police Department issued a public health announcement after an officer approached an undocumented migrant family at Whataburger who told him Border Patrol released them because they had COVID-19,” Fort Worth station KTVT reported Wednesday.

“On July 26 the police department of the small town along the Rio Grande and Mexican border shared details of the incident. They said a concerned citizen at the restaurant waved down the officer. The citizen told him about the family ‘coughing and sneezing without covering their mouths and not wearing face masks,'” according to the station.

An investigation revealed that Border Patrol agents were releasing COVID-positive illegal aliens to a local charity that was then booking hotel rooms for them.

One officer reportedly “saw a group of 20 to 30 [illegals] staying at the hotel who were ‘out and about.’ Most of them weren’t wearing masks,” according to the station.

The Biden administration is responsible for this. But instead of taking responsibility, he’s been trash-talking American citizens who haven’t obtained a coronavirus vaccine.

“[I]f you’re not vaccinated, you’re not nearly as smart as I thought you were,” he said during a speech Tuesday.

But could not the same be said of a man who allows his administration to funnel COVID-positive illegal aliens into some of the same communities where there’s been an uptick in cases?

La Joya lies in Hidalgo County, and on Monday, the same day that the COVID positive illegals were spotted in a local Whataburger restaurant, 671 new cases were reported in the county, according to station KXAN.

“On Monday, county officials reported 153 coronavirus patients were hospitalized in area hospitals, including 47 in intensive care units. And [Hidalgo County Judge Richard] Cortez told Border Report that some of the hospitalized are migrants,” the station reported.

Meanwhile, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement official confirmed to Fox News last week that roughly 30 percent of detained illegals have declined the coronavirus vaccine.

All of this is again the responsibility of the Biden administration, and so if anyone deserves blame, some say it should be the administration — especially the guy at the top — not Republicans.
