An Irish thief’s funeral included multiple nods to his life of crime, leading one priest in attendance to call the proceedings “the most disturbing” he has seen, reports said.
The eulogies for 29-year-old Dean Maguire at his funeral on Friday included one person cursing inside St. Mary’s Priory in Dublin, reports said.
“Sorry for the language, father,” one mourner said, according to The Irish Times. “Rest in peace, you f—king legend.”
Behind the altar was a professionally printed banner that said, “You know the score, get on the floor, don’t be funny, show me the money.”
