First Lady Jill Biden, who is being featured on the cover of Vogue, is the subject of a puff piece by the magazine that inadvertently seemed to reveal her true role as the West Wing surrogate for President Biden.
Buried in the leftist piece of adoration, is a statement worthy of the Woodrow Wilson administration: “The role she’s fulfilling on these visits is, in many ways, neither first lady nor professor but a key player in her husband’s administration, a West Wing surrogate and policy advocate.” Mary Jordan at the Washington Post goes on to call Jill Biden “an underestimated asset.” She contends that “it’s hard to imagine Joe doing this without her.” The “surrogate” reference confirms the fears of many Americans in regards to President Biden’s mental acuity and competence.
And Vogue relentlessly took shots at the Trump administration while pushing propaganda for President Biden via the First Lady: “Meanwhile, countless editorials began marking the first 100 days of the Biden administration, many expressing surprised relief over how much was getting done, how much legitimately helpful policy was moving through the system, how little drama, how few flubs or fumbles or ugly fights. Joe Biden is boring—and that’s not a complaint. One day, I asked Dr. Biden about the mood of the country. ‘During the campaign, I felt so much anxiety from people; they were scared,’ she told me. ‘When I travel around the country now, I feel as though people can breathe again. I think that’s part of the reason Joe was elected. People wanted someone to come in and heal this nation, not just from the pandemic, which I feel Joe did by, you know, getting shots in everybody’s arms. But also…he’s just a calmer president. He lowers the temperature.'”
Jill Biden appears to be happily embracing her role as a surrogate for the President.
“And now I have a bigger platform,” she declared, “and I feel every day, like…What could I give up? That I would want to give up? Nothing. If anything, I feel like adding more things, but I know it’s not possible because you want to stay centered because you want to do things well. And there’s so much to do. There is…so. Much. To. Do.”

The First Lady had already stirred rumors of who was in charge when she sat for a photo-op prepping for President Biden’s meeting at the G7 summit. She has also been seen taking control of her husband’s movements and wanderings from time to time. And it is curious that Jill Biden is more in the limelight for subbing for President Biden than Vice President Kamala Harris is.
Also included in the Vogue piece was effusive bloviating on President Biden’s move to get Americans vaccinated against COVID-19. The First Lady remarked that Americans are able to “breathe” again because of the way the President handled the pandemic and succeeded in getting “shots in everybody’s arms.” There was no mention that former President Trump was actually the one who got that ball rolling with Operation Warp Speed.
Vogue’s cover was released on Tuesday and is entitled, “Dr. Jill Biden: A First Lady for All of Us.” It is a 6,000-word saccharine admiration piece. It should be noted that former First Lady Melania Trump was never featured on the cover of Vogue but part of Jill Biden’s interview with the magazine took place in the White House Rose Garden, which Melania lovingly returned to its Bunny Mellon designed roots in 2020.
Conservatives noted the actual part that Jill Biden is serving in the White House and couldn’t resist venting their frustration and alarm:

Mrs. Wilson I presume?

It’s quite inappropriate and revealing that Kamala is such an unreliable VP that the administration feels compelled to instead hand Biden’s duties to the unelected First Lady.

I don’t recall seeing Jill Biden’s name on the ticket in November 🤔

I don’t recall voting for her.
I mean…I didn’t vote for Joe either…but I don’t think ANYBODY voted for Jill.

In case you were wondering what #JoeBiden spends his time doing in between naps, incoherent speeches, choreographed press conferences and signing terrible executive orders-he’s doing photo ops for @voguemagazine with Jill Biden. pic.twitter.com/fLXw9gH5da

#VogueMagazine trying to convince us that suburban grandmas in floral frocks are so fashionable is hilarious & insulting😂
The emperor has no clothes!! This is fashion affirmative action. They never put impeccably stylish FLOTUS, Melania Trump, on their cover. Vogue is a joke! pic.twitter.com/yD9V1ZZB1r

How sick… What you did to Melania is disgusting. Now you blast the social media with a illegitimate first lady. Vogue can go screw themselves. https://t.co/kYKxWG9v7S

Melania Trump was a model and had a great wardrobe, but unfortunately, Vogue and other mainstream magazines only celebrate Democrats. https://t.co/JS6hFeSWxH
